Pour is a cloudy looking yellow with a white fizzy head. Aroma is quite malty with some grass in there. Flavor is super sweet and very metallic. It actually hurts my teeth like chewing on tin foil. Not good in any way and i this might be a drain pour. oldrtybastrd (5228) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - JUN 21, 2006
Bottle - from Tres Bonne Cuisine, thanks to Bück Dich for the new store. Pours a nice dark golden yellow color with a fizzy white head. Aromas of minor hops, grass, and grains with a touch of vegtables. Flavor is a nice crisp hoppy/grain taste with a nice clean finish. Hazy dark gold pour with 2-finger frothy white head. Aroma of bready malts, hopcitrus, some honey. The flavor was terrible, with a lot of hot corn chip hints, plus some honey, caro syrup, and off vegetal malt hints. As it warmed, it began to get very cloying. Can, 500ml. Standard but a bit golden colour. Sweet aroma, nothing special but a bit stronger than standard lager. User37895 (3085) - - JUN 3, 2006
Pour was a carmel orange and brown color with nothing special in the head or lacing. The aroma was earthy and malty. The flavor was much of the same and I had no idea that this was 7% while drinking it. Somewhat sweet and lacking a hop balance, I wasn’t much impressed with this one.

In the 500 mL bottle. Pours cloudy hazy rich gold with a foamy white head. Has a mild boiled vegetable aroma. A bit perfumey. The flavor is rather plastic. Has a high alcohol burn that is out of balance with the rest of the beer. Pretty sweet tasting, but the dominant flavor is that of boiled turnips. Has an essence of honey if you use your imagination. This beer has a very conservative use of hops. It’s not horrible, but it is just not good. demitriustown (1192) - Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA - APR 27, 2006
I think this is the beer I’m rating. It just says "Zamkowe Beer" on the front and the ABV is 7% so I figured this has to be it. Pours a golden yellow with a short lived white soapy head. Aroma is dry and malty with a bit of a corn stench to it. Taste is dry as well with a malty zing on the first sip. rather sweet with a slight bitterness. Sugar, water, malts, slight corn taste make up this brew. Palate is really watery and sweet with the sweetness lingering for a while. As E. Strong Lagers go it kind of....Eh....Not the greatest not undrinkable. Average. Beerdedone (3452) - Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 24, 2006
UPDATED: APR 27, 2006 Bottle sampled with Stegosaurus. Pours copper with a white head. Aroma of sweet maltsand slight hops. Flavor is sweet with a bitter finish. JPDIPSO (6286) - Wauwatosa, USA - APR 24, 2006
Light amber color with a diminishing off-white head. Dry grain and and sour-flower (petunias come to mind) aromas. Light chalky malt start with a full aluminum flavor that sets in mid gulp and follows through to the finish. A 9v battery kick seem to wipe the teeth off. A light nutty linger helps the last few moments, but in order to finish this one I must relive the shock. Not a complete drain pour as there are some malt components, just a few too many other things going on. Ungstrup (38385) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - APR 23, 2006
An orange beer - quite carbonated, so bubbly cling to the glass and it has a huge off-white head. The aroma contains primarily notes of straw underneath which the alcohol is noticable, combined with hints of metal and straw. The flavor is quite malty combined with some notes of straw, but then the sweetness sets in, and it is quite powerful. When the sweetness resides a bit, the alcohol comes along with notes of metal, leading to an end, that is slightly sour and quite dry.
