Can.Pours golden with an off-white head. Aroma of malt, some spices, caramel and fruitiness. Flavor is sweet and malty with some red apples, spices and caramel. Medium body, average carbonation. bluevegie (3073) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - DEC 22, 2003
Not too sure if I like the taste of this. The appearance was ok, golden with a mostly diminishing head, the aroma was of malt which followed through to the taste with some prunes present and too me the alcohol was a bit too noticeable. thedm (6320) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - AUG 19, 2004
This bottled brew poured a very large sized head of white colored mostly lasting fine to large sized bubbles that left behind a poor lacing. The body was softly carbonated transparent and yellow in color. The aroma was malty and bready. The mouth feel was initially full of vinous malts then smoothened in the finish with a lingering malty grassy finish. The flavor contained notes of vinous malt dough grass and other slightly astringent notes. MaiBockAddict (1497) - Good Beer Bar Deprived, New Jersey, USA - NOV 29, 2004
Bottle. Pale golden and clear with a white head. Grassy malty aroma. Flavor is flat and lacking. Malt up front and fades quickly to dry nothingness. The malt profile is very disappointing, and is for the bland macro crowd.

Basically this is a typical Euro lager with a bit more alcohol. They all taste the same. Nothing special. It’s def drinkable. It’ll wash down perogies. robertsreality (2460) - Minnesota, USA - NOV 7, 2005
Vibrant Yellow Coloring with White Head. Malty Aroma. Sweet Malt Notes. Dry Finish. Not Much Here. Not Typical of a Storng Lager. tomciccateri (1035) - Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA - FEB 16, 2006
Sampled in bottles at 2005 Made in the Shade festival - Flagstaff, AZ, USA. A dark gold color with low carbonation, no freshness dating. Slight hop bitterness, slight fruity notes and fruity character. Early hop presence on tongue. Not a memorable experience. demitriustown (1192) - Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA - APR 27, 2006
I think this is the beer I’m rating. It just says "Zamkowe Beer" on the front and the ABV is 7% so I figured this has to be it. Pours a golden yellow with a short lived white soapy head. Aroma is dry and malty with a bit of a corn stench to it. Taste is dry as well with a malty zing on the first sip. rather sweet with a slight bitterness. Sugar, water, malts, slight corn taste make up this brew. Palate is really watery and sweet with the sweetness lingering for a while. As E. Strong Lagers go it kind of....Eh....Not the greatest not undrinkable. Average. BückDich (5477) - McCall, Idaho, USA - DEC 12, 2006
Bottle: Pours a pale gold color, lightly hazy (hmm). The nose is fruity with that typical blend of fruity ethanol (fusels?) esters from a high temp fermentation or just cheap husky eastern european malts. The flavor is a bit tangy and zesty with some decent hop bitterness and a light sweet malt and tonicy quality. The finish is average, strong. Meh.
