12 oz. bottled 06/05/2017. Foggy golden-amber with a humongous spongy foam (even with an extra soft pour) that takes forever to dissipate. Smells of dry yeast, resinous herb, bread, citrus mix. Flavors of the same with the yeast thankfully being diminished greatly after the foam finally settles. Notes of honey and peppery resin in the flavor as well. Light-plus body has smooth medium fizz and is easy drinking after the foam finally subsides

Tap at the source. Pure clear golden pour with a towering frothhy white head. Grainy nose with citrus and grass. Very hoppy, but not very bitter. Fresh hop character is strong. Orange and grapefruit build as the glass goes on. Some piney spice as well. Excellent. A well crafted and shining example of the APA style.

12oz bottle at Fontana dam. Big citrusy orange hop flavors. Sweet caramel malt to back it up. Ok.

jbruner (5121) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - MAR 20, 2017
Pours a clear golden yellow from the can with fluffy white head that dissipates to leave moderate lace. Aroma of mild citrus and bready grain. Taste is even more mild, clean and simple. Solid, drinkable, nice.

Suttree (6484) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - NOV 1, 2016
Hazy yellow, loose white foam. Grainy, grassy and lightly peppery aroma. Light bodied. Crisp citrus and pine flavor, with some fresh bread notes. Very dry finish.

12 ounce bottle thanks to Nate. Crisp clean APA with light hop and citrus notes. Decent.

thegreenrooster (4512) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - JUL 8, 2016
Pour is a cloudy orange with a large white head. Aroma is a spicy and fruity hop with no heavy malt sugars to get in the way. Flavor is a decent mango and pineapple hop. Again no malt is present this is all about the hops albeit a very mild hop flavor. A definite pale ale bordering on an IPA. A new style pale ale with the hops used.

chinchill (5225) - South Carolina, USA - JUN 6, 2015
On tap at the brewpub in NC. Golden amber body has excellent clarity and is topped by a durable head that leaves a fairly full coat of foam on the glass. Hop dominant smell and, to a lesser extent, flavor. Mild-moderate bitterness. Hop dominated but some bready malt show through.

3.4
Drake (14058) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 9, 2013
Draft at the brewery. 300th American Pale rating. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized creamy off-white head. Good head retention. Mild herbal hop aroma. The taste is citrus hops and pale malts. Medium bodied, fairly delicate, straightforward, well balanced. Nice beer.

3.7
JCB (3999) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - FEB 13, 2013
On tap at Pizzeria Toro, Durham. Nicely earthy pour, cloudy and vigorous, brimming with life. Nice blend of bitter notes and tropical fruit in the nose, and it comes across as intense for an APA. Turns out that’s certainly the case in this well balanced, elegant, but fuckin flavorful brew.
