Bottle shared at weekly tasting. Pours orange gold white head. Nose/taste of red wine, oak, alcohol, vanilla, lemon and florals. Finishes strong alcohol/berry fruit. Lighter medium body. vtafro (7445) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - JUL 30, 2014
Bottle. Golden pour with white head. Light spice, bananas, yeast and light berry tones. Aromas are similarly Belgian with fruit. Rrauth (1196) - North Carolina, USA - OCT 26, 2013
Bottle. Thanks Ryan. Cloudy orange. Some lacing. A hint of sour. Not sure what an elderberry is but it sounds like the cousin of a dingleberry. It's interesting as I'm not a big fan of Belgium beers but it's my fourth so I'm good.

Pours murky amber/orange with little head. Fruity/wine-y aroma. This one has a STRONG flavor. The wine flavor even manages to come through the strong Belgian Ale flavor.

Bottle shared thanks to decaturstevo at RBWG! Pours a clear copper gold with fluffy white head and light lacing. Aroma of belgian yeast esters, sour fruits, and a slight astringency. Taste follows, nice fruity esters but a bit boozy. Pretty solid, but I wanted a little bit more. Sledutah (7488) - Utah, USA - FEB 28, 2013

Appearance: Red/peach with a small white and light lacing
Aroma: Tart fruits
Taste: Sweet malts, fruity and oak, dry finish
Hazed orange pour wtih watery white head and lace. Aroma is light brown sugar and yeast. Yeastiness, brown sugar, earthiness with a flat paper finish. aracauna (3585) - Georgia, USA - FEB 23, 2013
First! Clear amber. Very fruity nose. Lemon zest. Guessing it would be the elderberries for the none citrus fruitiness. Surprisingly good.
