Pours hazy amber with a thin, white head that leaves some lace. Smells malty with some slight red fruit at best, subdued metallic flavor as well. Tastes ok. Metallic, malty with slight red fruit. Thin, watery body with ok carbonation.

elihapa (1554) - Honolulu, Hawaii, USA - MAR 3, 2010
Pours darker amber in color than I would have expected. Aroma is mild, a bit of toasty, bready malt if anything. Flavor is a mild mixture of toffee, caramel, dark bread. Nothing all that special.

Amber colour. Some malty, caramel aroma there with subtle hops. Palate is clean and well balanced with more malt flavours which is expected for the style. Not bad, but nothing special.
