12/3/12. 22oz bomber from ABC. This was split between 2 glasses. The first was a lightly hazy amber with a small khaki head. The second glass is a yeasty, murky mud bomb with basically no head. Dank earthy aroma with a ton of caramel. Big caramel and cardboard with earthy hops. I’m guessing this is old.

ICEatALAMO (1349) - Troy, Michigan, USA - DEC 1, 2012
Draft. The aroma almost knocks you out with the floral hops. The taste is a little less intense than the aroma. A little too bitter, even on the end. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sample at ÖÖWF 2012. Smell of fruity hops. Similar taste with a strong bitterness. Lots of hops overall. I didn’t recognize the typical Napa house flavours. Very nice, one of the breweries better beers.

Chalky malt on nose (good) with good hop aromatics and only modest bitterness. Good, would recommend. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a cloudy amber with minimal head. Not too many bubbles. Aroma is a stale malt smell. Drinking, however, does not taste stale at all. Some hop bitterness and some florals, but not the hoppiest.

Marsiblursi (3076) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - NOV 7, 2012
(Bottle) Pours dark orange copper red with a sand-coloured head. The aroma holds woodsy, resinous and citric hops alongside sticky caramelly, nuttyand light grainy malt. Light oxidation, syrup and green apples. The flavour is light to medium sweet, near heavily bitter and light acidic with notes of sticky malt and aggressive/sticky hops. The mouthfeel is syrupy and round with a light carbonation. Lingering resinous woodsy and citric bitterness. Medium to full bodied.

Ibrew2or3 (8614) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - NOV 3, 2012
Poured up on tap at GABF 2012 with a sort of matte gold mostly clear body that supports a tan head of foam. The aroma offers up sort of pine and citrus hops and then a little bit of spicy oak around the edges with wafer thin rings of thick malt sweetness even further out on the periphery. The taste is a nice burst of citrus and tangelo and some pine and then some oak spiciness. It then fades into malt flavor and a little bit of sweetness as it heads into the after taste. This is pretty darn good and my favorite so far from this brewery.

PorterPounder (7970) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - NOV 1, 2012
Tallahassee, Fl - ABC Fine Wine & Spirits - 22 oz bomber. Murky dark orange pour, nice sticky off white head that leaves plenty of lacing. Floral accented aroma with some sweet papaya-like fruity notes, a hint of excess crystal malt. Flavor is syrupy and sweet, a little too malty for an IIPA. Some brief bittersweet grapefruit notes, a bit of caramel, maple syrup finish. Sticky mouthfeel....but not in a good way. A little too much of everything.
