4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Typical amber colored DIPA body with a two finger thick head and mild residual carbonation. The smell was very mild for a DIPA, with the hops coming across as piney, floral, herbal, and earthy. The taste was quite bitter, with the same piney-earthy-herbal hop profile up front, and some spice in the finish. The malt was evident as a simple and light sugary taste. The overall flavor profile reminded me lot of a strong tea with some sweetness. The beer drank much more easy than the 9.2% ABV it contained, and there wasn’t any warming or burn at all. This beer did not start very promising, but delivered the hops in the end.
Orange/gold with a fine beaded white head. Aroma is worty and ever so slightly catty. Flavor is citrus - sweet orange peel. Boozy. Full-bodied. Adequately bitter finish. Drinkable even if a bit chaotic in its presentation. DocJitsu (1974) - Pensacola, Florida, USA - DEC 3, 2016
Pours a very murky dark orange-golden with a well -retaining off white head. Malty nose with some hints of hops, but no more. The hop profile expresses a little more in the flavor. Drinks more like a hoppy barleywine. Caramel comes through late in the flavor. Thick mouthfeel. hopdog (12510) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 30, 2016
Bottle @ MGM Studios Disney. Poured a hazy golden color with a small sized off white head. Citrus, some floralness, and some stale pine. hopscotch (11078) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - OCT 22, 2016
UPDATED: OCT 26, 2016 Bottle... Hazy dirty-orange pour. The aroma is a mélange of marmalade, candied stone fruits and pine resin. Full-bodied and nearly chewy with adequate carbonation. There are also candied fruits and marmalade in the flavor; balanced by resiny hop bitterness. Trends toward the bitter side of balance in the lengthy finish. oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - OCT 10, 2016
Bottled (backlog). Hazy orangeish golden colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some nectar and mild tropical fruity sweetness as well. Flavour is quite similar, but also has a nice sweetish malty body to it and a bit of alcohol giving it a kick too. Actually very smooth, yet quite "extreme" in a quite mellow way.

On tap @ Napa Smith. Amber in color with a thick white head. There’s a bunch of orange juice, some tangerine, and a hint of tropical fruit. Bitter pine and grass. A bunch of peach, too. Sort of perfumey. Definitely bitter in the tongue, but also fairly malt forward and sweet. A little bit of that aspirin bitterness. Eh, alright. BuckeyeBoy (7663) - Boise, Idaho, USA - FEB 1, 2016

Bomber from trio. Pours hazy Amber with a medium sized head. The aroma has a lot of citrus, juices, very little presence from the malt. The taste has a big caramel sweetness, a bit of grapefruit, kind of malt forward. djd07 (14471) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAY 28, 2015
