Rated on 6-07-2011 (Bottle) This beer has a small fizzy ivory head with a short retention, transparent amber body, fizzy, fast rising carbonation, and one ring of lacing. The aroma is caramel malt, citrus, pine hops, and apples. The taste is semi-crisp, lightly bitter, citrus, pine hops, and a hint of apples. The mouthfeel is smooth and this is a medium bodied beer. I did not get any "big hoppy flavor" as the description says. It is somewhat crisp and refreshing on a hot summer day. alkolas510 (1382) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 17, 2014
Bärnstensfärgad med litet ljust skum. Doftar både humle och malt och i smaken finns det humle och lite karamell malt! Ok öl! fattybladdy (628) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - MAR 13, 2014
12oz bottle, pours a robust amber with tall head. Sweet malt in the aroma. Caramel malt, bread, citrus hops, fairly sweet all around. Kind of a unique taste for a red. Stuedmaster (351) - San Diego, California, USA - MAR 6, 2014
22 oz. bomber from a local liquor store. Aroma is very unique, like persimmon pudding with caramel and oak. Nice light amber/ orange/red pour with a creamy white head, leaves lacing. Taste is sweet and complex, with the right amount of bitterness. Has some dough and fruit character. Medium body, thick texture, average carbonation, long sweet finish. A good example of the style with an added level of complexity. The 7.2% alcohol is well hidden. IrishBoy (4185) - Bakersfield, California, USA - JAN 25, 2014
Bomber from Imbibe Wine. Nose is citrus with light caramel. Clear amber with a small white head. Flavor is lightly bitter with some caramel.

@ Party Town / Florence KY Cloudy dark amber, no head, no lace. Taste is malt and dark fruit with slight bitterness that moves through the palate and finish without change. Inoffensive, static, I can drink it, but why? DTM (798) - Winters, California, USA - JAN 13, 2014
Bottle from Safeway in Cordelia, CA. Pours a dark amber color. Really like the mild hop character followed up by a good amount of malty caramel goodness.

Overall very good. Hoppy fruity a bit bitter and very drinkable. Leaves a clean mouth feel. The 7% alcohol gives a nice buzz and the price was right for me at about $4.00 for the two servings bottle.

Tap: Clear, copper to red with medium head. Red fruit beer, caramel, medium hoppy lift, citrus rind, orange, clean, bright, spice. Off dry, not sour, medium bitterness. Medium weight and length. Rich finish. Hops are used wisely for a west coast style Amber Ale. Rich and primary. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - DEC 9, 2013
Amber with a white head. The aroma has a lot of toffee as well as some grass and light pine. The flavor is similar with a lot of toffee and caramel. Fairly sweet overall with a good bit of alcohol noticeable. Also get some light pine notes and a low amount of bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
