2.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Thin head on a clear, medium straw colored body.
Smells of fruit: apple and pear mostly and a little honey.
Taste starts with a little sweet note, then dry bitterness... the middle and end are watery and bland. Starts out okay and then runs out of flavor halfway through.
Crisp texture, low carbonation and medium body.
The taste was a real disappointment, the rest of it was average.
"new beer from a new brewery...doesn’t get better than that. I picked up the pale, amber and wheat and started with the one I figured I’d like the least. if that’s the case, i’m in for a treat with the other 2 as this was an above average wheat beer. the aroma is quite pleasant, even if you have to work a bit to get to it. this beer smells fresh, malty. the appearance is average, unfiltered, with a quickly dissapating thin white head. the mouthfeel is smooth and soft. light, as the style calls for. flavor is refreshing...quite malty and flavorful, bubble gum and wheat. reminds me a little of high rollers from Anderson Valley. Crisp finish. If the other two are also above avg for their style, I may have a new hangout when the wife wines it up in Napa. Tasting room opens June 2009!" bkurtz (1134) - LITHUANIA - SEP 24, 2014
Pours a hazy dark golden. with a small head. Has the taste of cider and wheat malts. Interesting, but not so pleasant and not for me. GT (10017) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 20, 2014

>> Clear straw golden pour, weak foam. Nose is detergent, chemical. Taste is super bland, drained, nothing. Watery, papery, old, stale. Ick
Bottle, yellow hazy pour, no real head, nose is lacking, taste is slightly bitter but very watery, simple, not worth it. hotstuff (5258) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - MAR 25, 2014
Rated on 2-13-2011. This bottled beer has pours a medium sized very fizzy off-white head with a short retention, slightly hazy yellow body, fizzy, fast rising carbonation, and spotty amounts of lacing. The aroma is malt, wheat, some banana, and a hint of clove. The taste is sweet, wheat and citrus. The mouth feel is smooth and this beer is light-medium bodied. This beer lacks a lot of quality for the style as the flavor just is not right for this style. It left me not wanting this beer again.

15 oct 2013, bottle. Yellow, clear, steady bubbles. Nose is straw malt, a tad yeasty, kind if harsh tea and yeast. Thin body and moderately fizzy. Carbonation lasts the entire time it is in your Maputo, obstructing the flavor. But that's not great anyway. Light caramel, sugary bread, faint yeast. Not very good.

Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, wheat, ginger and yeast. Taste is light sweet and light bitter. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.
On tap at the brewpub. A clear one, golden in colour and with a small, white head. Subtle ginger aroma, as well as some fruit notes and pale malts. Spiced, ginger flavor, but balanced, leaving room for the malts and hops. Not much bitterness, but it’s not necessary either. A bit thin in the palate. A well brewed ginger beer. 130807 Geokkjer (7647) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - AUG 7, 2013
