Bottle. Pours a mostly clear gold with a filmy, creamy white head. Aroma has wheat and some spices, perhaps nutmeg. Flavor is sweet, wheaty, with faint bitterness and slight metal. Light to medium in body with fine, tingly carbonation. Finish is sweet and malty. Decent. wedgie9 (2703) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - OCT 9, 2011
Tasted on 10/8/11 from a 12oz bottle. Pours hazy golden yellow with a thick and pillowy pure white head that slowly recedes to bubbly lace. The nose is bitter, herbal noble hops, with a spicy yeast character. The flavor is wheaty up front, with a ton of herbal bitter hops, and the same spicy character that I got from the nose. The body is light with lively carbonation, and a long, herbal, spicy, and bitter finish. Suttree (6504) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - OCT 30, 2011
Cloudy yellow, loose white head. Smells oddly sour. Tastes oddly sour, too. Is this intentional? I get a little bit of traditional wheat characteristics, but a lot more sourness than I was expecting. Weird. bhensonb (15753) - Woodland, California, USA - OCT 28, 2012

Bomber from the Coop in Davis, CA. Dark golden color with a fizzy/frothy white head that didn’t stay very long. Aroma is strongly grassy over grain. Near medium body with frothy little bubbles. Flavor is grain with something like saaz. Slight touch of fruit. There seem to be pepper bits. It is astringent. My mouth wants to pucker. This is a slick product. There is no down side, except it’s a wheat beer. I wonder if this is being produced at the former sake brewery at HiWays 12 and 29?* And if so, are they using those brewers? These ales seem as well crafted as Budweiser. Not to say I’m recommending Bud, but AB does have the craft down pat. These guys seem to too.

Bottle 65 cl. Pours a clear golden with an off-white head. Citrusy, gingery nose. Medium body, dry maltiness again with a little citrus and some ginger. Dry finish with a discreet hop bite. Would be a quenching summer drink. 100110

Definitely a little odd and unexpected. Nose is dominated by ginger bread with some sweetness, light wheat, and thats about it. Pours orange golden with a big creamy head and good retention and lace. The flavor is also full of ginger bread, soft wheat, light sweetness, a little orange, and a little earth. Medium to lively carbonation, smooth creamy body. Interesting. Very nice label, that should be on a wine bottle. Slightly foggy, light golden beer, a floofy head. A fresh, light malty aroma. ’Special Ingredients’ in the commercial description obviously mean ginger. Lightly salty, a bit tangy, lightly sweet. Medium light body. Decent enough, and it *would* go well with a nice pork chop. ABC Likkas, Betton. Cavie (4805) - Arlington, Texas, USA - OCT 1, 2011
Bottle from Central Market. Pours a clear golden color with a light white head. Has kind of a wheaty smell with a powdered sugar nose. Different. Flavor was dry, wheaty and sweet grains. Easy finish. nearbeer (5603) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - DEC 1, 2011
Draft at Casual Pint. Clear golden with a lasting half inch of head. Nose is light caramel and citrus. Flavor is toast, light caramel and citrus. Light-medium body is balanced and has medium carbonation. nathan30533 (1022) - Clifton, Ohio, USA - FEB 12, 2012
Wheat beer. Smells Like it. Taste like it. Wheat brew. Not my style. Good luck.
