COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Napa Smith Wheat beer has a light and clean taste that is characteristic of this type of style. We have added special ingredients to accentuate the aromas beyond the hops and malt to insure a spicy, floral aroma with a light crisp finish. Serve this with a grilled piece of fresh fish or pork chops.

Poured a clear off-gold colour with a sustained head. Very astringent across the palate to an off-putting effect.

8/28/11. 12oz bottle. Barely cloudy light orange pour with floating chunks and a small khaki head that fades. Very plain and light aroma that hints at lemon peel. Very plain grainy flavor with a weird herbal aspect, almost like Italian food, with a touch of lemon peel. This is almost like a horrible saison for some reason. Blech.

like some of the other napa smith beers ive had, this one is thin, bland and fairly one dimensional. its not bad, just not worth buying again.

Bottle, yellow hazy pour, no real head, nose is lacking, taste is slightly bitter but very watery, simple, not worth it.

Bottle. Poured a clear amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly diminished with fair lacing. Light to moderate wheat aroma. Light to medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a light to medium sweet finish of short to moderate duration. My expectations where not met.

obguthr (6742) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - DEC 16, 2011
Lemon nose with black pepper hints, not strong. Clear amber, thin head. Lemon flavor. Astringent, slightly vegetal, fizzy. Weak, no character. Typical low end american wheat.

UnholyBrewing (596) - Central Florida(Upper Hell), Florida, USA - JUL 22, 2012
...slight wheat aroma. Thin. Highy carbonated. Tastes like cider. Tart finish. Weak wheat. No wheat flavor.

Fatehunter (2624) - Corbett, Oregon, USA - NOV 24, 2012
Thin head on a clear, medium straw colored body.
Smells of fruit: apple and pear mostly and a little honey.
Taste starts with a little sweet note, then dry bitterness... the middle and end are watery and bland. Starts out okay and then runs out of flavor halfway through.
Crisp texture, low carbonation and medium body.
The taste was a real disappointment, the rest of it was average.

12oz bottle. Small off-white head atop clear apple juice body. Aroma is medium sweet, wheat, some apple, light spicy. Taste is medium sweet, apple, some wheat, light orange. Light body. Rather bland.
