0.75l bottle. Looks really nice this with a orange cloudy body hidden under a big lasting and heavy lacing white head. Lots of fruity yeasty elements on the nose. Mild citrus, some zest, a little bit of lime and traces of hay. Somewhat sweet and definitely good smelling. Lots if strange flavors! It has a nice oily feeling in the mouth and it’s about average on the carbonation. Lots of yeast, ester and acidic apples. Wood also detected, like a cider that has been corked. Not bad, just different. Herbal continuance, some traces of sour strawberries, mild passion fruit and black currants with white pepper and a little alco hint in the finish and aftertaste. Definitely fruity but also it’s somewhat phenolic. Good. 12.10.2014

Bottle from Ezo Beer. A beautiful brassy orange with a rich full fruity aroma: plum, raisins, peaches, really full aroma that intrigues. Full bodied, bready, malty, sweet but sharp and fruity raisins, plums, sherry sweet. Much more like a rich belgian than a saison. I quite liked it.

KyotoLefty (10197) - Kyoto, JAPAN - APR 10, 2016
Bottle aged a few years. Oxidized nose of caramel, peach, apple, plum, honey. Oily, deep gold with lace. Flavor is wine, white grapes, apples. A fun, oily beer like an aged tripel.

Bottle split at ChrisO tasting, London. It pours a hazy pale golden color with medium white head. Aroma is malty and lightly sweet, with notes of bread, grass, biscuit, dough, earth. Taste is also medium sweet with more notes of rye bread, dough, straw. Medium bodied with ok carbonation. Overall, decent

This was a delicious beer/wine hybrid saison. Champagne aroma..little funky. Touch of hops..sour/sweet, almost champagne-like flavor. Good carbonation...very nice and refreshing at a BBQ. Caraway gives just a hint on the tongue at the end.

Bottle. Pours hazy golden, with a nice creamy head. Aroma is notes of yeast followed by a sweet fruitiness of hops and grapes, as well as roasted malts with toffee. Creamy body, with average carbonation. Flavour is yeast and herbs (caraway?), as well as sweet roasted malts with honey, heather and sweet fruity peach and grapes. Herbal, wooden finish, with some sticky, sweet fruity notes.

Bottle (75cl). Hazy pale orange colour. Inch-thick white head, quite good retention. Aggressively fruity-acidic nose with apple, pear, grape, yeast, cumin. Medium body, average carbonation, refreshing mouthfeel (dangerously so, considering the ABV). Fruity-spicy taste, fairly dry, lightly tart, nicely balanced. Bitter-tart finish. Spectacularly well-hidden alcohol.

750ml bottle from Vinmonopolet. Small, cloudy off-white head. Cloudy pale orange body. Aroma is funky and malty. Apple cider and yeast. Mostly sweet on the tongue with a sour aftertaste.

Miksu (5053) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - MAR 31, 2015
0.75 l bottle from Rosses i Torrades, Barcelona. Deep golden color. Sweet, tart and spicy aroma with delicate red grape and cardamon aroma. Sweet and tart taste with pepper and cardamon. Medium dry taste. Tastes blend well, even grape juice fits nicely and brings original character. Very good.
