330ml bottle at deTolly. Pours clear golden, white head. Aroma is fruity, hoppy, sweet, mango. Taste is super fruity, grapefruit, mango, pineapple, really sweet. Medium + bodied, average carbo. Really nice, tropical, juicy.

330ml bottle. Clear dark golden color. Medium size, yellowish beige head, stays. Sweet, caramel, citrus, yeasty, fruity in aroma. Sweet, fruity, citrus, malty in taste. Citrus and fruity in aftertaste. Medium bitterness. Alcohol is hidden. Soft carbonation. Solid brew.

33cl bottle from Sip, Tallinn. Pours almost completely clear deep golden with a fairly short-lived head. Fairly intense hoppy aroma with sweet freuits, cat piss, pine and some citrus - some caramel and notes of alcohol too. Sweet, hoppy and neither very refreshing nor very drinkable in my book. Fair enough but too sweet and messy, at least I was fairly disappointed..

This one rocks! Very good imperial IPA with the best of aroma and certainly very nice aftertaste. I smell orange and ginger and some clove. But the taste is more complex, some more fruits and herbs come into play. Very highly rated by a true connaisseur.

Pale golden color, white head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma with notes of tropical fruits, light herbal and good presence of hops. Flavor with a good bitterness, very, fruity some citrus. Moderate bitterness on palate. Nice beer.

Tap @ Konttori.
Pours hazy yellow color with asmall steady head. Aroma is strong with resinous hops and malts, orange and pine tones, subtle alcohol. Flavor is strong bitter malty, resinous hoppy, orange, subtle vanilla-like sweetness at the end. Quite heavy.

Hazy gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and has decent fine minerally carbonation. Smooth and sweet malts, mild vodka and orange vibe. Orange peel and pine. Hop spice and mango pulp. Crisp, dry and mildly bitter finish. Shows the alcohol but it’s pretty drinkable.

330ml bottle (Pothouse, Tallinn)
Misty orange, light off-white head. Sweet heavy caramelly aroma, quite sickly, fruity. Sickly sweet malty taste. Slick palate, heavy. Finish is a bit messy with sweetness and bitterness. No real depth or complexity, just a sweet sticky stodgy mess. Despite the sugar and hops, this doesn’t even cover the alcohol, vapours bounce around for quite a while. Brutal? Nah, bollocks. At least 8 varieties of hop wasted in this recipe

VamboladeTolly (2171) - Tartu, ESTONIA - JUL 7, 2017
Bottle. Pours hazy yellow/pale golden with small white head. Aroma: hay, dust, tropical fruits, malty, rotten berries. Taste: medium sweet, spicy, malty, caramel, some bitterness, citrus, apricot, lemon. Medium plus body. Nice.
