Bottle shared during the London Bimble - many thanks to Bruce! Pours clear burnished gold with a white foam capping. A little bit leafy, with nips of toasted caramel, dry bread, some bitter earth. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with further leafy hops and lightly toasted malts. Perhaps not at its freshest. Just OK. Palme (4780) - Bergen, NORWAY - SEP 19, 2014
On tap @ Henrik. Looks quite elegant with a deep amber brown colored body, cloudy and a nice lasting and lacing light beige head. On the nose I get a fair amount of butter. Caramel butter with lots and lots of ripe red fruits. It tastes surprisingly nice. Quite grassy and hoppy, but it tastes more like an amber of some sort than an IPA. A gentle oily gliding mouthfeel and a average almost creamy growing carbonation level. Drys my mouth in a slightly astringent way. Nice balance in almost every way, but it has that buttery touch I the flavor as well. The glass went away quite quickly, so it wasn’t all that bad this. 06.06.2014 Christian (13605) - Odense, DENMARK - SEP 16, 2014
