Bright orange pour with a thick white head. The aroma is quite pleasant. Soft Belgian spice, clove and a bit of melon and banana over some citrus and spicy hoppiness. Has a great assertive bitterness. Quite dry and bitter. It’s not as smooth as these sometime are, but I kind of like it.

Bottle, from the Craft Beer Advent Calendar (labelled Alien Klaw). Cloudy golden pour with a big white head. Aroma is sweet candy, Belgian yeast, citrus zest. Taste is citrus and tropical fruit, hints of Belgian yeast, lively carbonation and a dry finish.

330 ml bottle poured at home. Day 5 of the craft beer advent calendar. Pours hazy golden with a fluffy white head. Smells like yeast, pepper and orange. Tastes bitter with a spicy hoppy orange rind finish. Good beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Really nice Belgian white. Vibrant taste with lots citrus notes, especially orange as usual for the style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330ml brown bottle, as Alien Klaw, with blue label. Pale yellow and hazy with a pretty clingy and airy cap of white foam. Aroma - big tropical notes and citrus. Taste - yeasty, fruity, citrusy, minerally, grassy. Medium bitterness with a dry finish. Big carbonation. A nice Belgian IPA.

Bottle, beer advent calendar. Very hazy bright golden with a lively white head. Aroma is very yeasty, with notes of spices, light tropical fruit and light plastic. Yeasty palate, pale malts, spicy with a leathery dryness and a very peppery finish. Somewhat medicinal, and quite bitter. Interesting, but I struggled to finish the whole thing-- that bitterness became a little harsh and out of balance with the rest of it.

Aroma of citrus, tropical fruit, and yeast. Taste is light tropical fruit up front and when that fades, yeast and earthy malts arise. Pretty happy with this one.
