Jet black, large tight tan head, settles gently. Very heavy savoury roasty aroma. Very full palate, smoothish sweetness, and a moussey carbonation. Really spicy roasty taste, burnt, but not ashy, quite oily. Slightly ashy burnt finish, and unfortunately some alcoholic heat too. Does have a spicy heat too, a gentle throb on the tongue. Without the harsher aspects, this would be wonderful.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with small brownish head. Aroma: roasted, dirty toilet, dark berries, coffee, alcohol. Taste: roasted, dark bread, spicy, dak chocolate, dry, bitter. Hard to drink. Bitter spicy finish. Medium body. Try only if you like spicy.

Donker (zwart) bier met mokkakleurige schuimkraag die inzakt tot fijn laagje. Aroma van cacao, beetje koffie, beetje kruidig. Mooie volle smaak, smaakt een beetje naar een Mexicaans gerecht (chili con carne) maar dan vloeibaar. Pittige afdronk van de chilipepers. Maar net niet te heftig. Moet er wel bijzeggen dat ik dit bier pas heb gedronken 2 jaar na aankoop dus het zou kunnen zijn dat de pepers bij een vers bier vele malen sterker doorkomen...Goeie pittige stout.

W aromacie niestety głownie alkoholowe nuty, trochę skojarzeń z ziemistością, pojawiają się także nuty palone. Po przełknięciu pikantność papryczek wzmaga się dosyć szybko, grzeje solidnie w gardło, czuć także pieczenie w stylu innych przypraw jak imbir, nuty ziemiste również są tu obecne. Ciekawy eksperyment ale niestety psuje wszystko alko.

Bottle. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is coffee, touch of chili, black chocolate, not so much pumpkin detectable. Taste is black chocolate, coffee, some pumpkin there, good habanero balance. Silky mouthfeel. Very nice!

Pours a black colour, medium off white head, medium retention. Great lace. Aroma of chocolate, chili, pumpkin, Smoked notes,Hops are noticeable. Full body, thick and creamy texture, good carbonation. Taste of chili, chocolate, pupmpkin, red fruits, plums. Great.

33 cl. with no bottling date; 11.6% abv version. Aroma is soy, earthy pumpkin and roasted chili peppers, espresso and marshmallow. Pour is deep ebony with a ring of creamy bubbles. Flavors of soy, whole grain bread, squash, blackberry, caramel and roasted chilis. Medium-plus brew has a drinkable balance and medium carbonation. Very interesting and one of the better takes on a pumpkin beer. You can even taste the pumpkin through the mild capsaicin burn. The typical American pumpkin beer is full of so much pie spice that it aches the senses and has nary a discernible trace of pumpkin. Not sure why this brew isn’t in the Spice/Herb/Vegetable style where it should be a Top 10.
