In short: A toasted, caramelized and moderately hoppy amber beer that is surprisingly satisfying.miquelcrush (2053) - Granollers, SPAIN - JUN 29, 2014
How: Bottle 330ml, consumed fresh a few days after from the beer store associated to Bar ANIMAL for whom this beer is made.
The look: Cloudy amber body topped by a white ring of foam leaving good lacings on the glass.
In long: Nose has pleasant resinous hops that are both wooden and fruity as well as toasted bread and caramel. Body is medium to full in size and with a relaxed carbonation, ok mouthfeel. Taste is follows through from the aroma, nice crisp caramelized cereals, strong toasted bread sensation, wooden hops, citrusy notes, resin, mild bitterness. relatively dry finish. Listing flavor element can only tell so much, I can’t quite put the reason into words but this beer was very satisfying. A very cohesive and well balanced beer. A bottle I bought in a charming little Spanish beer store, but I can’t help but feel like I don’t belong when I’m in a beer store that doesn’t have grocery carts.

From keg @Haand Fest 13. Hazy golden with an orangey hue. Low lacing near-white top. Peachy hop nose, some citrus fruits and a whiff of doughy bread. Fresh-tasting. Crisp and fairy dry pale malts, citrussy and tropical fruity bitterness with a touch of resins. Finishes with a firm fruity bitterness and a light caramel-sweetness. kerenmk (5357) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - NOV 6, 2013
Drank it straight from the bottle at Madrid Airport, bought in Bar Animal, November 2013. Pine and some skunk in the nose, piney, skunky bitterness and a little hoppy in the mouth. Medium body, fizzy, grass-like finish.

On tap @ Haandfest 2013. This one is cloudy dark orange in the glass with a small bubbly sidesticking just off-white top. The nose has sulfur and old ripe fruits. It smells a bit farty to be honest, but if you look behind that there a re some peachy zesty yeasty fruity things. Well, that’s actually a bit of a letdown. The taste is much much better however. It feels really fresh! A bit to fresh perhaps? It’s almost somewhat astringent and grape seed mouthdrying in the mouth. A little bit of fresh citussy hops - nothing to fancy though. Ends with a lingering buttery caramel and diacetyl aftertaste. This was no big favorite. 25.05.2013 Gorm (1899) - Sandnes, NORWAY - SEP 21, 2013
Dunkel gyllen farve med lyst skum. Lukt av sitrusfrukter. Fruktig smak av sitrus og malt . På tapp @ Cardinal. Beer5000 (6821) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 20, 2013
On tap @ Cardinal. Unclear dark orange body with a nice off-white head. Lovely, strong citric fruity aroma like peaches, pine and tropical fruit together with caramel malt. Flavor has malt sweetness, citric and tropical fruit, some dry fruit, pine and pleasant good bitterness. Fine body and a long and fruity bitter aftertaste. Sampled this together with a few medium quality IPA’s and had to say a clearly prefer this well balanced APA. Might be one of the better APA I have tasted. Grifo.Vaso Shaker. Textura oleica. Seca astringencia de piel cítrica y toque picante. Prolongado final floral y amargo.
