2007 Bottle @ SMÖF. Pours a brownish body with a tan head. Aroma is malty with notes of port and vanilla. Hints of chocolate and toffee. Taste is really oxidised as expected. It ruins the flavors a bit, but its still OK to drink. Loads of malts here with liquorice, port, toffee and a fair amount of bitter, resinous hops. Still close to full bodied and avg co2 levels.

Smakprov på Närke Kulturbryggeri, öppet hus på Småbryggeriernas dag. Flaska från 2007. Mörk, rubinröd med tunn beige skumring. Söta, något vinösa toner med mycket torkad frukt, kola, mörkt socker. Medelstor kropp, oljig.

02.05.2014, tap @ CBC:
Small shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet fruity, caramel malts, old leafs, pine needles, butterscotch, toffee, sap, grass. Taste is slightly dry and well oxidized, old leafs, sap, pine needles, caramel malts, cardboard, butterscotch, old hops, bark. Longlasting bitterness, dry slightly harsh mouthfeel. Fair enough, way over the top.

Tap at CBC 2014. Brownish-copper coloured in the glass. Nice head. Fruity malty aroma. Starts strong malty, fine fruity, notes of plum, nice smokey hints. Finish dry-malty, not too intense. Nice!

On tap @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014. Looks quite elegant with a warm earthy amber colored body under a small quickly sidesticking off-white head. The nose is lovely toffee and caramel sweet. Some wild mos thing here. Caramel pudding and oxidized tones all the way. The oxidation is even more clear in the taste. Some rocks and gunpowder hints, dried licorice and red lingonberries. A little cognac like alcohol dunst in the finish. You sense that this is a old one, and I think it suits it just fine. Not bad at all, I’ll even go as far as to say that I like this. 02.05.2014

Fra fad, CBC 2014. Dyb brun, lavt skum. Sødlig, kompleks aroma med noter af både tørrede, lyse frugter og friske, citrus-toner, røg, malt, træ. Fyldig, ret bitter. God.
