Tap @ Borefts 2012. The pour’s deep amber with a medium eggshell white head. The nose is light grain, farmyard yeast, garden patch, and bucolic herb. The taste is more herbs, marmalade jam, gfunky saison yeast. Unusual bitter hop finish. Medium body, a bit more agressive than your average saison. Overall, OK. On tap @Borefts fest 2012.
Amazing look! Pours dark orange with huge off-white head.
Tropical fruits dominate in aroma, some malt sweetness, not very huge.
Taste is in contrast very intense, huge bitterness upfront, with piny & citrucy tones, unusual combination for saisons.
After warming up a bit, distinct tones of saison appear as well.
Full-bodied, high-carb, amazingly looking beer.

Pours a somewhat dark color for a saison. Burnt orange/amber with an off-white head. Somewhat sweet with a fair amount of toast and bread along with a mild floral note. Some floral and citrus peel notes for the most part. The flavor is a bit sweet with floral and citrus peel hop flavors and a light bitterness. A bit on the sweet and malty side for a saison. erickok (6036) - Leuven, BELGIUM - SEP 30, 2012
Rich fruit, bit of wood, clean yeast and concentrated. Pretty rich, but also somewhat sharp. Bitter base flavour of nice and modern. (On tap at Borefts 2012)
