gyllenbock (9841) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - SEP 26, 2012
On tap at Bishops Arms, Folkungagatan, September 2012.
A bit hazy amber with a small white head. The aroma was fruity with spices, pine, some yeast and notes of earth. The taste was rather dry with fruit, spices, some yeast, malt and "green" hops. Not excellent but an interesting one.

Tap @ Borefts 2012. The pour’s deep amber with a medium eggshell white head. The nose is light grain, farmyard yeast, garden patch, and bucolic herb. The taste is more herbs, marmalade jam, gfunky saison yeast. Unusual bitter hop finish. Medium body, a bit more agressive than your average saison. Overall, OK. pilsnerrogge (2995) - Finspång, SWEDEN - JAN 10, 2013
Draught at Akkurat:brokensail (16645) - Dublin, California, USA - SEP 30, 2012
Colour is brown. Small but dense head. Aroma of hops and dried fruit. Flavour is loads of hops, pine, gooseberries and nettles.
Pours a somewhat dark color for a saison. Burnt orange/amber with an off-white head. Somewhat sweet with a fair amount of toast and bread along with a mild floral note. Some floral and citrus peel notes for the most part. The flavor is a bit sweet with floral and citrus peel hop flavors and a light bitterness. A bit on the sweet and malty side for a saison.
Theis (15151) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 2, 2012
Draught at Borefts BeerFest 2012. Clear dark brown - white head. Sweetness, smokey notes, peppery, fruity, candy, ok hoppy, phenolic, light roasted notes, yeasty, citric. Leighton (22301) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 5, 2012
On tap at Borefts 2012, Bodegraven. Poure clear, vibrant red-gold with a fine, white cream head. Nose holds faint berries, a bit of yeast, light toasty dough. Big sweet flavor, some berry tang, faint leafy hops. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Moderate warmth to finish with yeasty and bready malts. Doesn’t really come together, and it’s a bit too heavy. TheJestersBeer (2431) - SWEDEN - OCT 5, 2012
Draught. Rating #1200.
Pours a deep amber, slight haze, off-white head.
Hoppy, fruity aroma, strawberries, hops, apricot, phenols, malt, peach, faint smoke (?), quite spicy.
Off-dry, medium to full bodied, high bitterness, creamy CO2.
Fruity, spicy, phenolic taste, malt, apricot, spruce, yeast, strawberries, faintly smoky off(?)-flavours, slightly sour notes.
Very strange, worlds away from a Saison, can’t really find anything in common with that style. Quite interesting, and oddly enjoyable nevertheless. (2012-10-05) cgarvieuk (25984) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 13, 2012
