brokensail (16648) - Dublin, California, USA - OCT 1, 2012
Pours a clear golden color with a white head. Smells really odd. Lots of plastic, chlorine, and lavendar aromas. A bit of soap, some bread sweetness, maybe a bit of hibiscus, too. The flavor is sweet malt, apple, and a lot of the same floral lavendar and hibiscus notes. Not as much in the way of the chlorine or plastic.

erickok (6036) - Leuven, BELGIUM - SEP 30, 2012
Butterscotch, yoghurt, peach, white bread. Medium bitterness, very dry. Dry yeast, light mouth feel. Refreshing and quite good. (On tap at Borefts 2012)

joergen (29238) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - SEP 30, 2012

Travlr (26134) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - SEP 30, 2012
Draft at Borefts. According to Jesper, this one is unpronounceable even for Swedes. Cloudy orange yellow color, small white head, solid lacing. Aroma of grassy spice, subtle licorice, straw. Taste is bitter straw, dried grass, spice. Unique.

madsberg (11776) - Søborg, DENMARK - SEP 30, 2012
Draught. Golden coloured. Unclear. Dense beige head. Aroma: sweeetness, spice, herbs. Flavour. Herbs, sweetness, flowers. Medium bodied. Ends herbal bitter.

sic1314 (4967) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - SEP 30, 2012
On tap at Borefts. Clear golden colour with an aroma of spicy floral notes. Flavour is sweet citrus and roast malts and medium bodied. Aftertaste is of a crap rauchbier.

Abio (1868) - BERMUDA - SEP 30, 2012
Grains, herbs, grass, spices... Somehow in a bit weird combination, but afterall not bad. Golden coloured and the head is ok. Good earthy biterness at the end.

Borresteijn (7496) - Zaandam, NETHERLANDS - SEP 30, 2012
On tap at BBF’12. Hazy golden yellow colour, white head. Aroma is very herbal, almost plastic and rubber-like, floral. Flavour is light sweet, herbal, plastic, bitter, light floral, light lemon. Didn’t really like this. Light-bodied.

kermis (14569) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - SEP 30, 2012
Draft at Borefts. Pours clear yellow gold with a white head. Aroma is strangely herbal and grassy, with a little citrus and fruit. Flavour is light sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

Draft @ Borefts 2012 // One of the more ’special’ Närke brews. Apparently moosegrass is the special herb that I was getting, I knew that this had to have some kind of Swedish unique herbs that I have never heard off but obviously couldn’t guess what it was. Is that even like eatable? Bright hazy golden with a decent neatly lacing white head. Smell is quite herbal, hard to pinpoint what, it is moosegrass apparantly but strong sharp vaguely familiar herb but you cannot pit your finger on. both sharp and sweeter qualities blended with some sweeter lemon. light sweet grains. Taste is as someone pointed out - indeed - huge jasmine,.sweet citrus, heavy herbal, yeast, spices, lemongrass and lemon zest. bitter in a spice way. Light easy to drink, one weird session beer, it such a weird flavor but works at the same time - hard to say what to do with this one....
