50 cL bottle, thanks to sk8viking/Grovlam. Pours with a nice clear amber colour and a huge, huge and light orange head. Heavy smoked tar and slight fruity aroma. Flavour is slight meady and smoked leather. Like a summer at a small fishing boat habour, fantastic smoked. Very very nice. One of the best smoked ever. A hazy amber beer with a disappearing orange head. The aroma is nice tar and smoke one. The flavor is smoked with notes of malt, tar, medicin, and vegetables. Nice one, though the body is a little thin. Thanks to the brewery for supplying this free of charge to RBESG. joergen (28964) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 15, 2005

Draught. Dark copper coloured, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is strong smoke and burnt wet wood. Same in flavour along with tar. Long smoked aftertaste. Reminds of the Schlenkerlas, but still not as "heavy" as those. Travlr (25821) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - OCT 3, 2010
Draught at Borefts Beer Festival 2010, courtesy of Håge & Berith, thanks! This was a very nice smoke beer that Håge put on tap after the start of the festival. It had a nice aroma of sizzling bacon and ashtray (in a good way), and a taste of smokey butterscotch. Afterward, he blended this 50/50 with the Stormaktsporter (something only Håge could be brave enough to do), and the result was amazing! Thanks for an interesting festival. cgarvieuk (25728) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - SEP 1, 2007
UPDATED: SEP 23, 2007 Bottle RBESG 07 ... Brown Smokey little fishy as well ! and peaty in nose ... peaty and meaty with fruity malts kicking though as well a lots and lots of smokeyness. omhper (25563) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - FEB 24, 2006
Tk2 Tap Glenfidich Warehouse Stockholm ... Deep black ... thru and thru smokey ...roast malt some fruit with a rich smokeynesss.
UPDATED: JUL 30, 2007 Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm. Dark ruby, very small head. Strong Gotlandsdricke-like juniper smokey aroma. Sweetish with notes of honey Near full bodied with clean mouthfeel. Like a cleaner, carbonated more well organized Gotlandsdricke. Many seem to prefer this winter version to their regular Rököl, but I find it a bit heavy on the honey.madmitch76 (25344) - , Essex, ENGLAND - OCT 10, 2010
Earlier Rating: 3/1/2005 Total Score: 4.4
Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm.
The second beer already this year made from Mackmyra smoked malt, this one’s top fermented I believe.
Mahogany colour, creamy head, somewhat hazy. Strong peaty whiskey-like smokey nose. Full bodied with rich, vinous malt character, heavily woody/smokey. Surprisingly dry. Grassy, tarry finish. A fantastic attention grabber!
25th Spetember 2010. Borefts Beer Festival II.
Clear dark brown beer with a tidy white head. Smoky nose. Light dry palate. A pretty smoky beer that acheives a modicum of balance from some red fruits. Finishes dry. All about the smoke this one - a little too much so.
