Bottle via Per, shared with the Ottawa crew. Clear copper with a slightly beige one finger head. Slightly chewy grainy malt, not sure I get spruce so much as pine bark and willow but that might be childhood memories messing up my palate. Moderate carbonation and body, slightly bitter, enjoyable. On tap at Borefts 2013. Clear amber with a good off-white head. Aroma is spruce, caramel, honey, cola. Medium bodied, sweet and slightly floral on the palate. Taste is caramel, spruce, honey. Not bad

On tap @Ma che siete venuti a fà (Rome). Ambrata, limpida, schiuma bianco sporco medio-leggera, non molto persistente. Al naso sentori di malto, frutta rossa, aghi di pino. UPDATED: SEP 30, 2013 Amber coloured beer, ok head. Spices/herbs, some malts and caramel. Not totally what I was hoping for, to uninteresting. re-taste: have to add a bit, seems better als last time.
