Flaska från SB. Mörk kopparröd/mahognyfärgad med högt, fluffigt vitbeiget skum. Maltig doft med mycket torkad frukt, brunt socker, spannmål, brödsirap, kex, apelsinskal och lite lätt barriga inslag. Stor, fyllig kropp.

Sample at Borefts 2016. Poured a crystal clear dark amber. The aroma is red berry fruit light yeast, light hop. The flavour is moderate sweet light bitter with a smooth yeasty red berry fruit light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Rather nice!

Bottle: Poured a clear amber color ale with a large off-white foamy head with good retention. Aroma of spruce with light cereal notes is quite pleasant. Taste is also a nice mix of spruce notes with some cereal notes and a dry finish. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Easy to drink with nice spruce notes that don’t overwhelm.

UPDATED: DEC 7, 2017 Dark red, almost clear. Aroma dominated by the hops, citrus like a typical APA. Taste starts the same way but then the spruce takes over in a nice, mild way. Fresh!

Draught. Deep amber, beige head. Spicy, fruity aroma, spruce, herbs, hops, apricot, caramel. Off-dry, medium to full bodied, medium bitterness, creamy CO2. Fruits and spices return on the palate, malt, caramel, pineapple, spruce, herbs, apricots, light smoke, yeast. Nice. (2011-10-28)

Sample at SMÖF 2011. It poured a dark brown-amber liquid. Smell of caramel, malt and spruce. The taste was very special and hard to describe. sweet malty with some candy and spruce. An unusual beer, but I liked it.

Glowing brown. Rich, well balanced. Spruce juice, spices, nice bitter finish. Interesting!
