Marsiblursi (3076) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - APR 14, 2009
(Draught) Pours dark brown with a creamy nougat colored head. The subtle aroma holds discreet notes of grassy and earthy hops. The malt brings tones of bread and hints of dry caramel. Bit salty. The flavour is earthy, grassy, bit herbal and bready. Light sweet and near medium bitter. The bitterness is very clean. Notes of mushrooms and strawberries. The mouthfeel is creamy and round. Nice stable maltiness. Medium bodied.

omhper (25541) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - MAR 26, 2009
Draught at Man in the Moon, Stockholm. Hazy reddish brown, airy head. Citric leathery nose. Dry with fairly light body and crisp, though almost overcarbonated, mouthfeel. Citric minty hops with increading late bitterness. Not as soft as most Närke beer and with a minor underlying citricity, possibly due to serving conditions.

fiulijn (21022) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 18, 2009
Draught at Den Tatoverede Enke, Copenhagen
Dark brown color; big creamy head. The aroma is mild, chocolatey, with light sourness. Medium body, dry caramel flavor, chocolate, light astringency, light vegetables. In the final there is more roasted malt, and it’s quite dry. Confused, not impressive.

Ungstrup (38238) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAR 15, 2009
Draft. A chestnut colored beer with a huge lazing brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and light notes of spices, but also an edge of acidity, that I don’t think is supposed to be there. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, bread, and spices, leading to a dry finish where notes of spices and brown sugar lingers. The body is thin. Närke can du so much better than this.

3.3
Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 11, 2009
Draught at DTE. Clear dark red/brown - offwhite head. High malty, berries, caramel, light sweetness, light hoppy, soapy, light piney, fruity, abricot, light roasted, notes. Pleasant.

3.2
faroeviking (11091) - Chupando chellas es como ellas, FAROE ISLANDS - MAR 11, 2009
Draught. . Unclear deep amber brown with a medium nice light brown head leaving a good lacing. Hoppy fruity toasty malty caramelic aroma. Good mouthfeel. The flavour has a pleasant bitterness with toasted malt, fruity hops, caramel and a burned/smoky touch. Long lasting dry bitter finish. Should that smoky touch really be there...? If not slightly infected then strange......

3.2
joergen (28949) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 10, 2009
Draught at Den Tatoverede Enke, København. Hazyorange red coloured with a mediumn sized off white head. Fruity aroma of hops and caramel with notes of pine needles. Fruity flavour of apricots and hops with notes of caramel and pine needles. Dry hoppy finish.

3.1
yespr (47034) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - MAR 9, 2009
From tap at Den tatoverede Enke. Pours cloudy yet golden hazzlenut brown with a smll tan and dense head. Fruity, yeasty and mild acidic berry aroma. Flavour is quite fruity yet with a light spice touch and somewhat roasted malty. Doesnt let go of the light acidic touch I cannot make out if it is intentional, I find it distracting. Phenolic and fruity into the finish and from the back of the nose.

3.7
ante (3373) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - FEB 23, 2009
Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm. Pours out in a clear reddish amber colour with huge off-white foam. Rich yet well-rounded aroma of earth, soil, mild lemon and caramel with bready undertones. Medium-bodied with notes of straw, berries, biscuits and herbal hops. Medium-bitter finish of earth and herbs.
