25cl bottle at Akkurat. 2010 Vintage. It pours a pitch black motor oil color with a small espresso head. Foam dissipates quickly into a small ring of bubbles. Aroma is big on sweet chocolatey notes with sweet liqueur and some wood notes. Taste is on the sweet side with big chocolatey notes and cognac and vanilla. Never boozy and easy drinking. Goes along perfectly with the chocolate truffles. Honestly inferior to the Kaggen version, less complex and less balanced but still a great beer.

Oilt black, thin mocha head. Slightly subdued aroma of rich chocolate, marshmallow, sticky fudge, vanilla, cognac, and a hint of smoke. Balanced bittersweet taste with a sharper vinous followup. A bit thin in body, though understandable at only 9%. The finish is clean and a little sticky

12 oz bottle from Ma Che Siete poured into 3 fonteinen stemware. Poured a dark black with dark brown foamy head. Smell and taste of cognac, sweet but not overly sweet, extremely well balanced stout. No signs of oxidation smooth mouthfeel, and by far the best stout ive had that has been aged in Cognac

At Akkurat. Pours black with a small tan head, quick to leave. Smell is surprisingly fruity. Bit of ashy roast. Taste smooth sweet coco powder with a sweet cognac finish. Bit of tangy red fruit, good barrel presence still after 3 years. Mid to full bodied, you can taste alcohol but don’t get much of a burn. Very well balanced. Well done. I think this lives up to the hype.

245 SEK 9% Akkurat 15th anniversary  beer. Dark inky black, viscous pour with a thin tan head which dissipated quickly. Nice cognac sweet chocolate taste. Very silky smooth, cognac, oaky, sweet & a bit boozy but incredibly smooth. Excellent easy drinking stuff.

Pour courteousy of AgentZero. Pours a dense black in color with about a 1/4 fingers worth of cocoa colored head. Nose is smokey, boozy, cognac, and malt. Flavor is very cognac forward, it comes on pretty hard. The booziness wears off and it falls back on its smokiness and malt. Mouthfeel is on the thicker side with little carbonation, some heat, and a long finish. This is another solid Narke offering. I think it would pair perfectly with a nice cigar. Perfect sipper.

Borefts’12, zwarte kleur met bruin schuim, ruikt en smaakt naar drop, zoet, koffiesmaak, mokka, rook, hout, geen alc. en weinig koolzuur.

Vintage 2010. 250mL bottle at Akkurat, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of cognac upfront, deep dark dried fruits, and some light roasted malt. Flavour brings out complex notes of cognac upfront, deep dark fruits and deep roasted malt. Highly complex, with the cognac highly situated in the flavour profile, though well accentuated. I prefer the regular Stormaktsporter but this is highly complex and enjoyable.

Ungstrup (38148) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - APR 22, 2013
Draft. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of smoke, roasted malt, cognac, and soy sauce. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, smoke, roasted malt, chocolate, and cognac, leading to a dry, roasted, and alcoholic finish.
