KnutAlbert (6754) - Oslo, NORWAY - AUG 28, 2006
On tap at Plain Kitchen, Göteborg. A serious beer, with more fruit than the usual coffee/liquorice you usually find in porters, but still with some fine aroma of burned toast. Midway betwen a porter and a Belgian ale, perhaps? A fine brew, but the competition is fierce!

(Draught at Rover, Göteborg) Dark brown with light brown, fast decreasing head. It smells like syrup, coffee, chocolate, burned rubber. Salt. Meet. Wet sand, butter and shoe polish. Hoppish. The taste is coffee, chocolat. The burned and roasted taste is well balanced by the sweetness. Rubber, fruity, saltwater. Big body with a pleasent afterbitterness. A bit dry. Iron. Blackberries.

Excellent. The color was very dark to black. The head was thin but lingered till it was finished. The taste is chocolatey and earthy. Very nice!
