Smakprov på Närke Kulturbryggeri, porter och kladdkaka på Kladdkakans dag. Trevlig, lite lättare stout med markerad beska, fina rostade och lite rökiga toner. Smakrik!

On tap @ Akkurat, Stockholm - SE. Color: deep dark black beer with no carbonation and smal brown head. Smell: roasted malt domination with caramel. Nothing more. Taste: medium body with good rasoted malt and caramel taste. Good attenuation with great coffee/chocolate notes. Really amazing finish. Aftertaste: good roasted malt coffee chocolate. Caramel finish. Great beer.

[email protected] sauna. Black. Piney roast, herbal, slight tart nose. Coffee beans. Light bodied, bit thin on the palate, dryish roasty slight ashy finish. Flavourful, but bit thin. Nice for a 4.5 though.

Saeglopur (2380) - Vienna Woods, AUSTRIA - DEC 25, 2014
Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm as "Närke Vintermörker".

Black body, with a big, stable, creamy, dark beige head.

Aroma of coffee, wood, dark chocolate, dark fruits.

Taste follows this, dry and roasty and adds some smoke and slight caramel.

Light, but quite creamy mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.

Finishes long, roasty, bitter, dry, wooden.

Very nice! Dry, roasty and full, but really sessionable at the same time. The mouthfeel is a bit light and it isn’t the most complex Porter, but for this low ABV a great beer!

Draught (4,4%) Pikkulintu as "Närke Vintermörker"

Aroma is dry with coffee and dark chocolate. Flavour has toffee typical to English ales, coffee, some ash and tobacco. Very dry stuff, reminds me of Pannektarnas Porter.
