Black in color with a khaki head. The aroma is dominated by coffee. Tons of fresh coffee notes, a slight creaminess, and a bit of burnt sugar. Lots of roast and some chocolate, too. Tastes very much like it smells; intense coffee flavor with some roast and bitter dark chocolate. A nice sweetness on the finish with a hint of cream. Cask at Borefts ’12. Dark, almost black pour with a tan "ring" head. Big coffee and peaty aroma with an earthy flavour and chocolate / liquorice notes. Nicely balanced bitterness on the palate. A superb beer which I could not resist tasting several times! Forget Amarillo. Show me the way to Örebro !! PotjeBier (3735) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - SEP 28, 2012
Draught @ Borefts ’12.Color is black. Dense beige head with short retention. Aroma’s: Coffee, mocha, roasted malts. Retronasal slightly sweet, mocha, berries. Flavor is lightly sweet, roasted, berries. Light bodied. Finishes somewhat ashy, roasted, coffee, medium bitter. Served me as a good coffee substitute. deanso (10101) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - SEP 28, 2012

Dark black body, tan small head. Deep roasted nuts, hazelnut liquor, coffee and toffee. Rich, rich aroma. Body is actually fairly thin. Roasted taste, sharp ending. Amazing flavour, okay taste. (At Borefts 2012) Oakes (18873) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 2, 2012
Dark brown, not much head. Big coffee aroma is fresh and assertive. Has a coffee-dominated character, but it’s a bit thin, maybe not having enough malt to back it up. 50belair (3682) - Florida, USA - MAR 13, 2012
Growler shared by Billy Ross at the pre-Huny tasting. Dark brown/black pour with a small head. Expresso aromas. All kinds of dark roasted malts, coffee, expresso, and bakers’ chocolate. Marsiblursi (3083) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - FEB 9, 2012
(Draught) Pours black with large and creamy, beige to brown head. The aroma holds yummy coffee up front. Dry and roasted with gravel and hints of smoke. Very balanced nose, maybe just not that complex. The flavour is light sweet to dry, medium bitter and tiny acidic from the coffee. Perfect balance between the hops and coffee. The mouthfeel is silky and smooth with a light carbonation. Light acidic finish from the coffee and the hops. Medium bodied. Simple but fantastic. drowland (9080) - Georgia, USA - JAN 21, 2012
1/21/12. On tap. Black pour with a nice tan head. Bold, sweet coffee aroma that is also bitter and slightly sour. Rich coffee flavor as well mixed in with milk chocolate and lingering roasty bitterness. Nice!
