DSG (15432) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - OCT 8, 2010
UPDATED: OCT 12, 2010 [9/24/10] Draught at Borefts Beer Festival 2010. Black-colored. Aroma full of coffee, mostly like black turkish coffee. Sweet flavor of roasted malt and coffee and a pleasant dry finish. Nice rounded mouthfeel.

dEnk (4200) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - OCT 5, 2010
Draft @ BBF. Aroma is deep bitter coffee, very aromatic. Flavour is deeeeep coffee, mildly bitter, just very good coffee. Did I mention there’s coffee? Ok so it’s onesided, but when it’s a side that’s this good I don’t mind. Long and full finish, especially for 6%. Bring me some of this when I wake up!

Draught at Borefts Beer Festival 2010, courtesy of, and poured by, Christoffer, the creator of this incredible brew - thank you sir! Hazy purplish chestnut color, small tan head. Aroma of coffee grounds, bitter cocoa, vanilla, cinnamon. Taste is dilute coffee, dark chocolate. Great mouthfeel for a light bodied beer. One of my favorites of the whole festival.

abemorsten (3683) - Mosterøy, NORWAY - OCT 3, 2010
Tap at Bishops Arms Bellmannsgatan Stockholm 8.9.2010. Black with a finger thick brown, creamy head. Excellent lacing. Chocolate, roasted and wooden aroma. Well balanced sweet, bitter and acidic flavors with the aromas present. Dry mouth. Medium body. An all enjoyable beer.

bierkoning (13813) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - OCT 2, 2010
UPDATED: OCT 2, 2012 Tap @ BBF 2010. Dark brown color. Coffee in the aroma, Buisman, chichory. Malty roasty flavor with coffee and a hint of licorie. Well balanced (7 3 7 4 14 = 3.5) Cask @ Borefts 2012. Loads and loads of fresh grinded coffee in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with tart notes and loads of fresh grinded coffee. Very much a breakfast beer.

On tap at Borefts Festival. Pitch black with a creamy off white head. The aroma is loads of coffee, light caramel and light tobacco. The flavour is cold coffee, some roasted malt and light chocolate. Coffee all the way....

NoiZe (2394) - Zeist, NETHERLANDS - SEP 30, 2010
At Borefts Bier Festival 2010. Black colored brew. Coffee, chocolate and intense coffee in both aroma and flavor. Very nice.

Barrelbelly (751) - BELGIUM - SEP 30, 2010
Strong espresso smell and similar taste. The taste lasts a long time but there is little more to be found in the taste than the pure espresso taste.

yespr (48954) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - SEP 30, 2010
From tap. Pours dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is coffee, toffee and caramelish - slight hoppy. Dark malty, roasted and breadish. Sweet malty, coffee and bitter. Slight citric and bitter dry into a roasted malty finish. Lasting coffee note.

skortila (6014) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - SEP 30, 2010
On tap @ 2nd BBF. The aroma has roasty malts, coffee beans and chocolate. Black coloured beer with a beige head. The taste is light bitter, has sweetness, coffee beans, roast and some chocolate. Full bodied. Really nice.
