(Draught at Rover, Göteborg) Smokey malt with some american hops. Närke has better smoked beers to offer. fiulijn (20938) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 14, 2006
Dark amber to brown color. Nice malty and smokey aroma and taste. Maybe not enough complex, but pleasant. anders37 (26824) - Malmö, SWEDEN - JAN 6, 2006
Bottle. Amber in colour with a tan head. Aroma of smoked maltand a little hoppy. Roasted malt in the flavor with some smoke and a bit of bitterness in the aftertaste. TBone (17773) - Pori, FINLAND - OCT 30, 2005
Draught, alc. 5.6%sayravai (4710) - Helsinki, FINLAND - OCT 29, 2005
Nut brown, small creamy off-white head, some lace. Flowery hoppy nose. Honeyish, Cascade hops are evident in the flavor. Medium-bodied hoppy, like drinking hoppy British bitter. Smoke is quite weakly underlying there. "Svensköl" is very misleading name :)
(Draught@Pikkulintu, Helsinki) Slightly hazy reddish color with a smallish, tight and creamy head. Roasted-malty aroma with dried, dark fruit and some smoke. Fruity, somewhat smoky toffee aroma. A very nice, slightly smoky "dark" flavored brew.

Draught, at The Rover.
Dark brown with beige head, mostly diminishing, good lacings. Aroma heavy malty (smoke), light hoppy. Flavor moderate sweet, heavy acidic (smoke) and bitter, long duration. Light body, watery, flat carbonated. ante (3373) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - SEP 16, 2005
(draught at Akkurat, Stockholm) Reddish brown with a gigantic beige foam. Tarry and smokey aroma of ham and licorice. Dry smokey flavour of tar, rope and ham with a light grapefruity note. Dry tarry aftertaste. Rather extreme. Really good! MrWalker (926) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - SEP 16, 2005

Nice subdued smokey aroma. Quite full bodied with licorice, dark fruits and chocolate flavour. I think this beer is still under development from this small brewer and changes from batch to batch. Still, it’s a very nice and well balanced brew with a good hoppy/smokey aftertaste. Me like.
Slightly artificial but pleasant citric nose - like a soda popsicle.
Citric fruit center, a bit spice.
Quite nice. Ungstrup (38140) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - AUG 30, 2004
An opaque brown beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is of roasted bread, prunes, and chocolate - and so is the flavor, but the body is thin.
