Rating from 2010.
Vielen Dank an Micha!

Green can. I am finding more and more excellent beers in cans. Creamy malt tast and even pour. Also good for bumming it straight from the can.

Can. Pours a decent cheddar orange with a nose of wet autumn leaves and weak caramel. Flavor is wet autumn leaves, stale bisuit, and light rose. Average mouthfeel. Disgusting.

A wonderfully malty brew by Cottrell/Gansett. It is a nice medium amber color with good carbonation and sweet nutty aromas. Flavor is very malty - choc, caramel. Medium body. Roasty-sweet finish. Well made.

I enjoy this local on tap. A good presentation of a style that Im not fully enamored with, but I enjoy on occasion. Its a darker bock with a lower alcohol content of many the bock standards, certainly the doppels... It has a solid malty sweet taste to it with low carbonation and little hop bite. I like it and will continue to drink it from the draught.

From a 355 ml. bottle marked 04020934B1. It poured mahogany brown with a beige head. Decent lacing. A powerful aroma of malts and yeast. Not watered down. I would describe it as medium mouthfeel. Flavor is slightly bitter but also quite yeasty. Bolder than I would have imagined. It is above and beyond the typical Narragansett product. You be the judge of whether that is saying much.
