16 oz can poured a dark golden in color with a thick one finger head that retained well. Aroma has aged hops, grains, and some bready yeast. Mouth feel is medium and the carbonation light. Flavor does have some malts, mild aged hops, a touch of bitterness, and grains. More full and malted than a typical pills. Travlr (24880) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - SEP 5, 2014
Draft at What Cheer, from notes. Clear yellow color, medium fluffy white head. Aroma of bready cereal. Taste is crisp straw. OK. UDBeernut (2883) - Saint Johns, Florida, USA - SEP 3, 2014
can, tall boy, lets go. nose has light flowers, mostly grain and tin. taste has light wisps of sweetness, mild tin. flowers and grass is mild on finish but there. light body. decent boost level due to the large can. Kleg (257) - The Beach, Florida, USA - JUL 26, 2014
Clear golden color with a fluffy white head and good retention. No lacing. Sweet and smooth/mellow but bittering hops. Not my favorite style. kevd193213 (991) - Hope Valley, Rhode Island, USA - JUN 28, 2014
16 Oz tall boy can. Fizzy, slightly cloudy yellow pour with a medium off white head. Aroma of pepper and yeast. Clean, crisp finish. Really solid pils at a great price.

Trader Joe’s, Tallahassee. Too-busy tallboy can. Huge, stiff white head on clear yella beer. Nice, mild, sweetish grainy malt aroma. Moderately astringent, slightly tart, fairly bitter, cereal husk flavor. Medium body, spritzy mouthfeel, longish tangy and graham cracker finish. Decent fishin’ beer. Pours out a golden orange with a big durable head of white foam. Very clear, no haze or floaties. Spicy hop aromas and plenty of bread. The flavor is more of the save, only a little bit duller. Huge impressions of bread, and some odd but not-unpleasant Belgian-ish fruity flavors. Hints of honey as well. Smooth with a dry finish of lingering spicy hop. Honestly pleasantly surprised by this one, way better than I expect a cheap pilsner in a tallboy made by Narragansett should be. thornecb (5918) - Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA - MAR 6, 2014
Pours gold into a shaker. Bright white soapy head with little retention recedes to sicken surface. Caramel, hay and toast aromas. Crisp with sour corn and hay upfront turning to mildly bitter earth in the lasting finish. PorterPounder (7970) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - MAR 2, 2014
Tallahassee, Fl - Trader Joe’s - 16 oz can. Pours a medium golden with a snow white head, slight lacing. Aroma has a brief hoppy hint, a touch of grain. Flavor is pleasant with some slight sweet honey notes, a touch of yeast, some bready goodness. Mouthfeel has a nice crsipness to it. Not bad at all. This is an outstanding domestic version of a Czech classic. Really excellent grassy hop aromas and crisp pilsner malt on the nose. The palate is smooth and round with a wonderful pilsner malt flavor. This one finishes with more great pilsner malt up front, and ends with a slight herbal/grassy hop bite that lingers for a bit and fades. Great drinking beer, great beer to match with food. This is what you want and expect in a text book example of Czech pilsner. A perfect example of "less is more" in a beer.
