COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hi Neighbor! Great-Grandfather DeLucia made his first frozen lemonade back in Italy in 1840. During the winter he carried snow into nearby caves and insulated it with straw. When summer arrived, he mixed the snow with fresh, local lemon juice and sugar, making a refreshing drink. His grandson, Angelo, introduced this icy treat to Rhode Island in 1948, and today there are over 30 Del’s stands across America. ’Gansett is proud to present this delicious Shandy with the perfect balance of Narragansett Lager and lemon flavor. It’s refreshingly different!

Can. Pours golden with off-white head. Aroma is sweet sugary lemon. Taste is sweet lemon candy with a malty sweet lemon finish. It’s pretty good but not something i could drink a lot of.

Six pack of tallboy cans. Pours out a light golden color. Off white head. More bready lager flavor than other shandies. Sweet lemony flavors. Somewhat tart and dry on the finish. Leaves a sticky finish.

Pours dark wheat with medium head. Excellent aroma of beer and lemonade and all things summer. Light palate, slight fizz, great undertones of Del's in an unobjectionable lager body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

16oz can on Memorial Day. Lots of fresh lemon smell as soon as you get near the glass. It tastes strongly of citrus, although I got more lime than lemon. I’d rather drink a lager or a lemonade than the two together, but this was pretty ok.

355ml can. This is a very mature-tasting "shandy". Tastes like if you made a pie out of lemon heads, very clean lemon flavor, its okay, not too sweet.

Pounder: Seven Up soda aroma, lemon-lime. Clear golden, headless. Lemonade, stale. Light body, fizzy but not harsh. Refreshing

Drank from a tall boy can, purchased in Warwick, NY, while playing disc golf! A good shandy!

Smells like fresh lemonade. The initial taste is also very much like a mildly sweetened lemonade, too. I'm not huge on Shandy's...don't get me wrong, they're refreshing, but not usually all that great. This one is good though. Awesome packaging, too. I look forward to the other beers in this variety pack. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not bad and quite refreshing. Interesting but nothing special to talk about this one. Nice to drink with food.

Tall boy can. Pretty generic lager pour, maybe a bit more lemony yellow. Small white foam. Lagery grain aroma with some lemon notes. Body is pretty creamy, standard lager with some odd lemon overtones, not juice exactly. Oddly bitter, pithy finish. Not a terrific thing.
