2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Typical old school North American Lager. Smells like...old bar beer -- there’s a surprise. Yellow/gold, big white foamy head. Not bad. Would appeal to the old 1950’s PBR, Carling, etc. drinkers. Suits Capt. Quint in "Jaws".
UPDATED: JUL 20, 2017 This stuff is very cheap, like 8 bucks for a 16oz 6pk. But honestly compared to macros of the same style its pretty good! Sweetish pale malt and corn aroma. Clean crisp taste; corn and a slight malt sweetness. Heavier bodied than the average beer of this style. Non offensive. A good session beer Jgwynne66 (1) - Pawtucket, Rhode Island, USA - JUL 8, 2017 does not count
Solid American beer. Much better than any of the "usual suspects". Outstanding value for money. Jabic (586) - Plainfield, Vermont, USA - JUN 19, 2017
Ar: Pale crackers, some sulfur and corn; herbal, lean hop aroma. Ap: Golden and crystal clear; medium-large white head with moderate retention, leaves a nice cap of streaking foam and some trains of froth on the glass sides. T: Clean crackers with a bit of sulfur up front; the slightest hint of corn, with a bit of sweetness; a little toast; bitterness is medium-low, with a touch of herbal hop flavor; finish is a bit of chalk, more cracker malt, and a clean bitterness. P: Medium-light body with high carbonation; finishes dry. O: A refreshing American pale lager; has some flavor to it, while being overall quite clean and understated; well-made and easy to sit back and drink. Pours a clear golden color with white head. Aroma is alcohol, and cereal grains. Tastes like corn and cheap alcohol. Dry. Light bodied. Finishes with mostly cereal grains and aluminum ding. freekyp (2235) - Thomasville, North Carolina, USA - MAY 27, 2017
Lightly corny aroma with some graininess. Pours striking golden. Small wispy white head. Clean and crisp. Not offensive.

Drinkable but not really something I would drink on a regular basis. Good for the price. Tejas (1006) - Dallas, Texas, USA - APR 25, 2017
Solid lager. I like the tall boy can. I'd happily drink this if it were sold in Texas. jcr (2705) - Jasper, Indiana, USA - APR 24, 2017
Can. Golden body with a short, white head. Anemic aroma at best. Raw grain, corn. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Thin body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Light malt and sweet corn taste. Light citrus with a very light bitterness in the finish. Not much going on here, but then it’s not flaw-filled either. A light beer, not too complex. Mild body, low hops, sweet. Pale malts, some caramel, yeast. walrusman (13) - Ohio, USA - APR 4, 2017
Just like I enjoy; malty, sweet & no bitterness at all. Pours clean & clear with crisp flavor. I bring this back home to Ohio every time I visit New England. Love the retro cans as well, as featured in the movie Jaws by actor Robert Shaw.
