For Malt liquor, surprisingly enjoyable, and highly drinkable. I enjoy it. I do have to advise that is not one to be drinking at anything less than super cold. ChadPolenz (1845) - Lakeland, Florida, USA - FEB 5, 2014
I poured a 25oz can into a large mug. It was canned on 12/2/13 and cost $0.97 ($0.04 per ounce).

Appearance: Bright yellow hue, crystal clear with plenty of effervescence visible. Pours to a small, white, soapy head which quickly fizzles away and leaves no lacing.
Smell: Virtually odorless. Faint aroma of generic adjunct lager, but nothing repulsive.
Taste: Malt liquors are a fickle bunch. Drank cold out of the fridge they tend to be bland and inoffensive, but once they warm their ugly side comes out. Which is the true character of the beer? Since most people who drink beers like Natty Daddy aren’t sipping on them like a barleywine, I’m going to opt for the cold flavor profile.
Not that is much of a profile anyway. This brew is bland and virtually flavorless. It does have the generic and familiar adjunct macro lager character to it in that it’s light-tasting with no discernible malt character and absolutely nothing in the way of hops. Some corn flavor is noticeable, along with some metallic-like flavor on the finish, though this is par for the course. Otherwise, there doesn’t seem to be any of the usual suspects like acetaldehyde or DMS. Not even the alcohol is noticeable. This is actually not that bad of a beer, but simply being bland is not attribute.
Drinkability: I was a little nervous going into Natty Daddy as the 8% ABV on the label is usually an indicator of something foul. Yet, this beer drinks and feels as light as any regular macro lager. The mouthfeel is thin and crisp and finishes almost completely clean. There is no warmth from the booze at all. I wouldn’t call it refreshing, but I have to admit it’s quite drinkable for what it is.
(can - 25 oz) Piss yellow with no head. Sweet aroma. Almost smells like old trading card gum that would crumble if you looked at it too hard. Sweet flavor at the start, but not punching you in the face. It creeps up and kind of sits on your tongue. Not terrible but not again. OPIE788 (336) - Ohio, USA - JAN 11, 2014
25 oz can. Yes 25 oz. Smells bad. Like a sweet fart. Really sweet flavor that lingers. This is a bad joke gone wrong. Smelling it also gave me a headache. I love cheap beer but this is above and beyond. Headbanger (4012) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - JAN 6, 2014
24oz can 1/6/14 (Local Liquor Store)-40° in Lager Glass-Pours a clear light golden with a white head. Aroma of citrus, sweetness, and malt. Taste of the same. This light bodied brew is just another malt liquor.

Big ’ol 24 oz can. Pours a clear pale yellow body with a thin fizzy white head that vanished pretty quickly. The nose is pretty well nothing but corn, which is what I guess they call ’cereal grains’ over at A-B. A little bit of soapiness and cardboard as well. The flavor is pretty darn offensive, lots of corn syrup sweetness and zero identifiable malt character otherwise. They say there’s hops in here, but I don’t believe it. Just all kinds of corn and cooked veggies in here. Lighter bodied up front, but sticky and clingy on the finish. Lots of fizzy prickly carbonation. Pretty poor stuff. 24oz can, from a Kroger. I tried to share this with friends, no one would take. Pours an awful bright light yellow color. Decent thin off-white head retains, though. Leaves decent bits of lace. Tastes like expired bud light. Acidicy lemony notes, corn, light rice. Kind of a biting taste. Moderate sweet, light bitter. Light hop, some heat in the finish. Medium to bigger body, light carbonation after a while, lightly slick texture. Not great. But... Not totally awful BroncoNation7 (7) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - OCT 12, 2013 does not count

24oz can from trashy liquor store. Clear golden, soapy white foam. Weaker retention. Nose is cinnamon baked apple, not bad. Taste is bland, soapy, apple, some white alcohol. Not nearly as bad as the other malt liquors today. Didn’t mind this one. Pepsican seal of approval. phaleslu (10462) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 28, 2013
24 oz. can from 1UP in Denver. Pours a super pale clear yellow with a big white head, at least the amount I poured out into an empty glass on the bar. It stinks and tastes like garbage. Tons of corn, sour mash, weird chemicals that seem like they’d be under the sink. Light-bodied, with a metallic mouthfeel and high carbonation. Bad, even for a malt liquor.
