Bottle into shaker. Light head dissipates quickly. Translucent medium amber color. Nutty resin aroma. Malty sweet flavor with pine and doughy notes. Spritzy feel on front side with sticky sweet finish. Not bad. queenholly (3623) - South Whitley, Indiana, USA - OCT 30, 2013
Bottle Dusty caramel malt aroma. Clear amber with a moderate creamy off-white head.Smooth bready caramel malt, dusty-grassy hops flavor. Medium creamy body, soft carbonation. Very pleasant amber. scotchzombie (622) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - OCT 11, 2013
Pours amber orange-red and mostly clear with an off-white head that fades to a rim. No lacing. Aroma is bread, malt, caramel. Taste is semi-sweet with more bread, malt and caramel. Maybe some toffee and butterscotch. Moderate carbonation and a touch of bitterness in the finish. Straightforward but very drinkable. I like this a lot as a session beer.

Poured a beautiful reddish brown with a light had that disappeared quickly. Aroma is slightly sweet and malty. Taste has some of that same sweetness up front, nice and smooth. Pretty good. penguinfinity (107) - North Carolina, USA - SEP 30, 2013
Bottle. Smells good but mild. Hard to place the scent. Pours dark amber with a light head that lingers around the edges. Taste is also hard to place. A little bitter and almost no aftertaste. Mild carbonation. It’s okay.

On draft at Trio in Kitty Hawk. Pours a clear amber with an off white head. Thin mouthfeel. Flavors of caramel and biscuit. Short moderately bitter finish. rondphoto (4517) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - AUG 26, 2013
Clear warm medium amber with a persistent ivory head and swirls of lace. Taste is caramel malt with a butter rum overtone. The taste moves smoothly through the palate until it is lightly countered by hops and carbonation. A nice unpretentious ale, easy drinking, good session choice. Recommended. shrubber85 (11710) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - AUG 24, 2013
Bottle. Light toffee malt aroma. Clear amber with moderate head. Lightly sweet toffee malt and mildly bitter herbal/grass flavor. Decent amber ale. BrettTaylor (784) - Radford, Virginia, USA - AUG 16, 2013
Poured as a 4 oz taster in Greensboro pub. Surprising dark coffee notes, malt, beautiful color, sweetness counters the coffee enough that the wife, who doesn’t like coffee, likes. Went very well with the burger for lunch.
