Draft at the source. Clear amber color. Aroma of caramel. Taste is caramel on toasted graham crackers, very nice flavor for what is usually a pretty plain style. chriso (21656) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 21, 2011
On tap at Natty Greenes, Greensboro NC on 13 July 2006 (noted at 4.8%). More copper than amber in colour. There’s a restrained flowery hop character and a touch of caramel malt. Clean and easy drinking. Less happening here than the APA. Respectable enough but not very inspiring.

Cask in American Oak: A reddish amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, woody oak with faint caramel. In mouth, an astringent bad idea, wood chip, like licking paper, not good. 5-3-3-2-4 Drake (14078) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 6, 2011
