2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Not offensive. Not impressive. Orange gold and limited white head. Aroma is a little musty/malty. Tastes like a decent amber that has gone flat or been watered down.
Undated bottle > tulip
A: Clear pale copper color with a short thick head that held for a couple minutes, leaving patchy lace.
S: Some leafy hop notes and caramel/toffee sweetness.
T: A bit watery and simple but flavors of tart orange and grainy malts are present and nicely balanced with a peppery finish.
M: Again thin and watery but still clean and crisp.
O: Just tasty enough to be vaguely interesting. There are better ambers but maybe not at low ABV. Points taken for no dating. This brewer's dating system is ridiculous when it's there but inexcusable when entirely missing from the bottles, which is often. AjHtoma (16) - - AUG 19, 2017
Not very interesting. Not much flavor on the front end, but there is a little bit of tasty bitterness on the backend. Good qualf.

Bottle from Harris Teeter, Hampstead, North Carolina. Amber brown with a thickish frothy-bubbly head. Crisp, sweet hoppy beer with a slightly gritty darker malt influence. SanfordBrewer (1610) - Sanford, Florida, USA - JUN 20, 2017

Yep, amber color. Moderate sized off-white head. Lightly toasted malt, light orange zest and celery scents. Mild sweet toasted malt and caramel in the front. Mild floral hops in the middle. Finish is sweeter with some orange blossom honey. A fairly easy drinking amber once I got past the aroma. 4/13

Pours a clear amber body with a small wispy off-white head. The nose is grainy, slightly burnt and husky malt with some light caramel sweetness. The flavor is pretty poor, it’s very husky and grainy with a slight burnt grain finish. Pretty well lacking in hops for the most part. Light to medium bodied with a slight cling and soft light carbonation. Not so good, even for an amber ale.

I enjoyed this one for the style. Ambers are hit or miss for me. Nice balance with a semi-creamy texture. Malty with mild hop content....almost like a lighter brown. Friend from GA brought me a few beers from this brewer....all were decent. yespr (48968) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - SEP 29, 2016
From tap. Pours cloudy orange with a small off white head. Aroma is toasted malty with a slight caramelish note. Bitter, toasted malty. Dry, bitter and caramelish malty finish. cheap (6217) - CHINA - JUN 10, 2016
Bot. Smells like a big malty brew. Looks like a yuengy. Big malty taste. Middle goes a little medicinal. Some carbonation. Slightly cooler than room temperature. A little fruit in there sometimes, alky soaked fruit, just a little. Gets a little difficult near the end. Yes, malt effects are prevalent throughout the session. Not sure if any hops are detected or not.
