750 ml bottle to snifter (thanks jmborggren). Looks good; a semi-transparent copper with off-white lacing. Smells solid; Flanders and funk. Tastes like it smells, only better, with a good mouthfeel. I dig this beer.

Bottle at Papsø’s - Thanks. Clear red/brown - white head. Coconut, ryebread, fruity, toasted, oakey, light lacto, light acetone notes, nice sourness, toasted, caramel, nice wooden, some light tobacco notes, vinegar notes. Nice.

Bottled. Dark amber coloured. Unclear. Dense light brown head. Aroma: sourness, brett, leather, berries. Flavour: sourness, berries, earth, oak, wood. quite full bodied. Ends smothly sour and full of berries. Delicious.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of thgr81_us. Botle # 89/230. Pours an almost clear orangey brown with an off-white head. Tart, Bretty and funky nose - atop some burned caramel. Medium body, burned caramel, woody and very sour, loads of barnyard and funk. Rather astringent. A lovely Flemish Red. 221112

[ Bottle # 7/230 ]. Clear medium to dark red brown colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, cheery, sour berries, wood, red wine vinegar. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate acidic with a long duration, tart, berries, light vinegar - red wine vinegar. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120818]

750 ml bottle from JCB- thanks again, J! Bottle 2/230. Bottled 12/2010, released 3/15/11. Pours a hazy brownish amber with a small beige head. Aroma of tart cherries, balsamic vinegar, oaky funk, caramel, brown sugar, vanilla, and plum. Flavor is more sour and not as sweet, though the caramel and vanilla and brown sugar are there. Tart fruits, oak, yogurt, vinegar. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation, and a tart, funky mouthfeel. Really good sour.
