22oz bottle #1/230 shared by jtclockwork, thanks-pours a tan head that slowly foams over after opening and copper color. Aroma is vinuous/acidic, medium malt, tart/barn. Taste is vinuous, medium malt-caramel, medium fruit-raspberry, wood. Finish is acidic/vinegar, which didn’t work for me, but front and mid-palate are quite enjoyable.

Bottled. Dark amber coloured. Unclear. Dense light brown head. Aroma: sourness, brett, leather, berries. Flavour: sourness, berries, earth, oak, wood. quite full bodied. Ends smothly sour and full of berries. Delicious.

Pours clear brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of vinegar, sour, tart, oak and barnyard. Taste is light to medium sweet and medium to heavy sour with a long dry sour finish. Body is full, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Botella. Hazy amber colour. Fruity sour woody yeasty aroma. Flavour is sour and woody with fruit and caramel. Vinegar noticed. Quite pleasant indeed.

Had this at Where The Wild Beers Are. Pours a hazed amber with a thin white head. Tart acid, soft wood on the nose. Bright acid, tart with a light amount of acid initially. Warm with some funky musk, and long acid into the finish. Very tasty.

Bottle, from b3shine (thanks Beau!), shared at RBAG 2014. Medium amber brown, spare off white head. Kriekish, unripened cherries, strong lactic sourness (very "American" in this respect). Very tasty.

750 ml bottle from JCB- thanks again, J! Bottle 2/230. Bottled 12/2010, released 3/15/11. Pours a hazy brownish amber with a small beige head. Aroma of tart cherries, balsamic vinegar, oaky funk, caramel, brown sugar, vanilla, and plum. Flavor is more sour and not as sweet, though the caramel and vanilla and brown sugar are there. Tart fruits, oak, yogurt, vinegar. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation, and a tart, funky mouthfeel. Really good sour.
