Strong bouquet of strawberry, mango, and rosehips. Sublime! Clear amber, thick billowy head, nice lacing. Honey and mango, with a leafy grass finish. Medium body, soft. Good level of bitterness, but it doesn’t mesh super well with the fruity flavors. If you like fruity IPAs, like I do, you’ll love this one! Belgian yeast? Freaking fantastic! ross (2146) - weddington, North Carolina, USA - JUL 22, 2012
Bottle. Pours out an orange color with a white head. Smell is hoppy and fruity with plenty of citrus. Taste is smooth and refreshing. Pretty good beer really, not sure about the low ratings. It was very fresh when i has it... ucusty (2691) - raleigh, North Carolina, USA - MAR 11, 2010
Hazy bright amber pour. Aroma is grapefruit and pine. Flavor is along the lines of an IPA. Resinous mouth-feel. Grapefruit, spruce, honey and citrus. Finish is dry Garbageman (487) - Lexington, South Carolina, USA - JAN 24, 2013
From tap at Brewery. Pours deep golden/amber color. Aroma was strong of herbal hops and malt. Taste followed. I enjoyed this one. scotchzombie (582) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - SEP 19, 2014
Pours hazy straw amber with a massive foamy white head that laces like mad. Aroma is jammy lemon-orange-floral citrus. Taste is quick to the piney hops and then flows into some rich orange-grapefruit citrus. Backbone is semi-sweet and the aftertaste is bitter. Very atypical but enjoyable and drinkable AIPA. Wish this were a regular from Natty G - it's one of their best.

On tap. Leaves excellent lacing.
Remarkable simulation of oranges and orange peel in both the flavor and aroma. Mild bitterness for style.
Medium body and carbonation.
O: a very fruity (citrus) and appealing IPA. bubbleflubber (2210) - Swannanoa, North Carolina, USA - AUG 26, 2012
On tap at Brixx Pizza in Asheville. This poured from a brand new keg as liquid murky caramel brown, with a frothy head that leaves thick lacing. The nose is of earth, silage and pine. The flavors are of caramel malt, light pine, a hint of copper and some woody hops. The finish is a semi-lingering bitter. The mouthfeel is nice and easily smooth. Not sure why the low ratings, as I found this to be quite tasty, easily drinkable and superbly integrated. PGHbeer77 (571) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 15, 2013
Sweet citrus scent, beautiful golden/copper pour with fluffy head, light and crisp palate, with a bitter citrus pine flavor. BrettTaylor (773) - Radford, Virginia, USA - AUG 16, 2013
Poured from bottle - pours a light gold, slightly hazy, with 2 cm frothy white head. Aroma is a mix of citrus and resin. Significant lacing and head is long lasting. Taste has some initial sweetness followed by crisp bitterness. The finish is medium long. This is a very refreshing and tasty beer. I like it a lot. Bottle at random North Carolina bar. Grapefruit hop aroma, slight caramel malt as well. Flavor matches. Maybe not spectacular, but a pleasant bitterness, and the hop profile was pleasant, with some tropical notes mixing in as well. Nice.
