Poured as a 4 oz taster in Greensboro. Unlike some of the other tasting notes, this had a nice aroma and some real taste. Maybe they’ve changed the recipe starting this year? Found malty, caramel notes on the nose; some hop bitterness but definitely balanced toward the malty end of spectrum. icehawk (876) - Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, USA - JUN 26, 2013

Bottle thanks to Mike. Pours clear gold with white head ring. Nose and taste of barley, corn, light grainy and bready malt, apple core and lemon. Very thin bodied. Finishes barley/grains.

Draft at the source. Amost colorless. Aroma and flavor remind me of Bud Lite, and not in a good way. Are beers like this really still necessary in a modern brewpub? I guess only the sales figures know for sure. RobertDale (6983) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - NOV 22, 2012
12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear light gold with an average white head. Aroma of grain, grass, and citrus. Taste is similar. Nothing too special. Drinkable. DrSilverworm (10000) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 7, 2012
12oz bottle, thanks to Jay. My bottle is labeled 3.8% ABV. Clear yellow color, minimal ring of white head around the edge, 2 or 3 small loose dots of lace. Some funky skunk; mustiness. Some lemon. Bread. Light herbal, citrus hops. Sweet corn. Some tart sour, and bitter. Thicker carbonation, sort of pronounced - gives the texture a bit; not what I’d call smooth. I think good golden ales are tasty and supremely easy to drink - this is neither rayg1 (597) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - SEP 23, 2012
Pours a hazy golden yellow with a thin off-white head. Aroma is buttered biscuit but then fades to some strange dank smell, almost like compost. Not too great. Flavor is again very buttery, grainy, some hay. Finishes somewhat cleanly which makes the beer more respectable. Not Natty Greenes best offering. maxwelldeux (4433) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - JUL 16, 2012
This tastes like nothing. Like, just barely more flavorful than water. I get no smell, nor do I get any taste. I may as well not be drinking anything.
