Has a nice, crisp, malty aroma with a good fruity undertone and a hint of yeast. It pours a clear solar yellow with a thick and somewhat persistent fluffy white head. Crisp flavor is malty with a subtle fruity undertone and just a hint of herbs/grass. Texture has slightly above average body and a good amount of fizz. Definitely satisfying and enjoyable. icehawk (876) - Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, USA - JUN 26, 2013
Clear, light yellow with minimal white head. Slight honey aroma. Light body with a subtle honey taste. Easy drinking palate cleansing. novedyarg (56) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - JUN 9, 2005
A nice golden ale with a good smooth finish that borders between sweet and dry from the English yeast. A great ale to consume in mass. Gold in color with hoppy and yeasty aroma, hint of grains. jrob21 (3809) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - AUG 27, 2010
Bottle. Hazed golden color with a slight white head. Flavor dominated by toasted grain and grassy hoppiness. Bit of grass and hay on the finish as well. Ok but nothing exceptional here. ross (2146) - weddington, North Carolina, USA - NOV 17, 2011
Bottle. Yellow colored pour. Smell is like straw and wheat, with a little bit of hops. Taste is crisp and refreshing, easy to drink and smooth. Kind of a nice little hop kick at the end. The best of the misc 12 pack I had.

Pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma is malty and mildly sweet. Flavor follows suit...light grassiness too. Mouthfeel is light but silky and creamy with a mildly grassy finish. BrettTaylor (784) - Radford, Virginia, USA - AUG 16, 2013
Poured as a 4 oz taster in Greensboro. Unlike some of the other tasting notes, this had a nice aroma and some real taste. Maybe they’ve changed the recipe starting this year? Found malty, caramel notes on the nose; some hop bitterness but definitely balanced toward the malty end of spectrum. j12601 (13114) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JUL 17, 2015
On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a thin white head. Soft grain on the nose, crisp and crackery. Medium bodied, grainy and crisp. Grain into the finish, crisp with a soft bitterness. 00cobraR (1103) - Greensboro, North Carolina, USA - SEP 2, 2007
Had this one at the Grasshoppers game where I saw the opposing team got the shit beat out of them due to a large fight in the 3rd inning. Pours out a light yellow color with a nice white head. aroma was some what bitter with a slight amount of malt. Flavor was rather bitter and it lingered in the after taste.
