Tap at Natty Greene’s. Pours cloudy orange golden with a small creamy white head. Aroma is citric, yeasty, wheaty, some bananas and hay. Flavor is wheaty, yeasty, slightly bitter, fruity and bananas. Finishes a bit sweet, yeaty and fruity. Drake (13737) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 22, 2012
Served on draft at the Raleigh location. Pours a hazy yellow with a large frothy white head. Decent head retention. Strong wheat in the aroma with some faint citrus notes. Kinda bland. The taste is citrus, wheat, yeast and a spicy finish. Average carbonation and thin bodied. Lubiere (13905) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 5, 2011
A hazed amber hefeweizen wit a thin white head, served with an orange wedge. In aroma, sweet banan, cloves, with light sulfury notes. In mouth, a lightly oily sweet banan malt with nice cloven notes, nice and restrained, refreshing. On tap at Greensboro location, August 14 2011. haukur (1957) - Reykjavik, ICELAND - JUN 3, 2011
not a good hefe impression, but a nice american hefe. A bit watery and lacking in palate. thagr81_us (175) - Gaffney, South Carolina, USA - JUN 2, 2010
Served from tap into a standard pint. Poured a hazy pale yellow with a one-finger white head that subsides to minimal. Maintained decent lacing throughout. The aroma was comprised of wheat and citrus. The flavor was kind of bland with a spicy wheat follow-through. It was light on the palate with medium carbonation. Overall this was a very subtle and smooth Hefe. It was light on flavor but made it quite drinkable and very refreshing for a hot day. Worth a shot if you are a Hefe fan and get the chance.

Off yellow pour with decent sized white head. Aroma of coriander and banana runts. More spices and banana in the flavor. Carbonation was slightly heavy at finish but drinkable. CaptainCougar (7133) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - JUN 14, 2009
Tap at the brewpub on 2/2/08: Pours a cloudy deep golden with a clingy-lacing frothy white head. Aroma of sweet doughy German yeast and caramely malt with a touch of banana esters. Starts fairly full-bodied and malted wheaty sweet with a good balance of bready yeast and clove spice. A nicely done hefeweizen. decaturstevo (6244) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - FEB 13, 2009
Hazed yellow/brown pour with creamy white head and lace. Corriander and bannanas on the nose. Clove, bannana, and a slight semi sweet maltiness. Just a bit fizzy. Very solid refreshing beer. I really liked this beer. I can’t say enough about how clean and good it was. alexanderj (3605) - Branson, Missouri, USA - APR 19, 2008
Draft at brewpub. Pours a fairly dark, cloudy gold/orange. White head. Aroma of fruit, banana and spice. Flavor was good, with a nice balance between banana/wheat and citrus/fruit. Some light sweetness. Thought it was pretty good. ross (2146) - weddington, North Carolina, USA - MAR 3, 2008
Draft at Natty Greenes. Came to me with a fucking orange wedge on it. Did I order a God Damn Pina Colada? No. So get that fruit shit out of my beer. Pours out a dark yellow to light orange color with a nice white head on it. Smell was fruity and full of orange peel, coriander, and perhaps a little bit of lemon. Taste was very smooth and easy to drink. I could drink quite a bit of these on a hot summer day. Too bad they do not bottle this one. Extremely underrated on this site. Just leave off that fucking orange.
