Tap at Nattys Raleigh. Nose is day old coffee grounds, roast, ash. Similar flavor, fairly one-demensional and the coffee is kind of gross. Didn’t finish the 4 oz glass. emacgee (4708) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - APR 23, 2012
Draught @ Raleigh brewpub. Pours a clean dark black with one finger of dark tan head. Nose is unbridled coffee, too much almost. Light sweetness and chocolaty roast. Flavor is pretty much the same, overwhelming coffee character. Alcohol is well hidden, listed as 8.1%. Medium body with a light acidity. Bart (2936) - Brussels, BELGIUM - OCT 28, 2011
Draft. Black coloured beer with a small brown head and some very fine carbonation. Malty roasted and special sumatran coffee hinted aoma. Nice touches of roasted coffee beans. Very subtile aroma. Full light creamy and coffee roasted aroma. Finish is roasted coffee beans with a short hint of roasted malts. Ending with a longer dry coffee herby hint. Very good!
