Bottle thanks to Mike. Pours brown/chestnut brown with no head. Nose/taste of toasted malt, sweet cocoa and light day old coffee grounds. Lighter bodied.

Draft at the source. Clear chestnut color. Aroma of chocolate covered caramel. Taste is watery cocoa and caramel.

Capa (3257) - Kitsap, Washington, USA - NOV 5, 2012
Nutty, light chocolate, a bit of brown sugar, lightly toasted malts. Medium bodied. Solid brown ale and really dug the low abv.

Leafs93 (2296) - Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 11, 2012
Pours brown with a thin tan had. Aroma is coffee, bitter sweet chocolate and toasty. Taste is sweet with a twinge of tartness on the finish. Smooth and almost creamy mouth feel. Enjoyable.

maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - JUL 7, 2012
Pours very dark with minimal head. There are some hints of nuttiness to it, which was a little surprising. Good level of roasting in the nose on this beer. An interesting find...

Bottle from sampler. A rich brown that has some porter like qualities with the chocolate and a little heavier body (which I like). Surprised by how low the alcohol content is for such a flavorful beer. Very good.

tkrjukoff (4335) - SWEDEN - JUN 9, 2012
Tap at Natty Greene’s. Pours brown mahogany with a nice creamylight tanned head. Aroma is sweet, caramel, coffee, nutty and some chocolate. Flavor is similar to the aroma, too sweet for me though, lots of coffee and chocolate. Some vanilla as well. Finishes sweet malty and bitter.

Foxbush (2009) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - MAY 21, 2012
This was the third beer tasted. The DIPA is not listed yet. The color was a dark brown with lacing. The ale did not have much taste (possible potatoes) and was watery and thin. The finish was smooth but a disappointing beer.
