Bottle. The pour was a slightly hazy golden amber with a large (2-3 finger) white rocky head that had great retention and lasting throughout producing thick sheets of lacing.
The aroma was to say the least nice and hoppy of a pine hop, a grain malt and a soapy yeast with nice strong notes of citrus and caramel.
The taste was bold and bitter with a hint of caramel at first then became extremely hoppy with a real nice dose of citrus at the end. The flavor lasted a really long time allowing for full enjoyment of this beyond hoppy brew.
Mouthfeel was just a bit beyond light in body and dry in texture with a nice prickly carbonation.
Overall this Pale Ale is by far one of the better ones out there. If I did not know any better, I would have taken it for an IPA.

UPDATED: JUL 7, 2012 This was purchased near Duck, NC at a Harris Tetter. The APA poured with a HUGE head. The white frothy head filled the glass and laced down the glass. The ale poured an attractive hazy golden color. There is a mild citrus aroma on the nose. This pale ale fails to distinguish itself. It is too mild and lacks some bitterness. Very lively carbonation creating the head. Had this in Jacksonville with my son’s family. The ale poured a clear amber color with nice head. This was on tap. Raised scores slightly. Hazy light amber coloured beer with some very light carbonation and a small white head. Light hoppy and fruity hinted aroma with a short malty hint. Medium palate; Finish is fruity, light citrus hinted with a bitter twist. Smouth light bitter and enjoyable. kidmartinek (4999) - austin, Texas, USA - AUG 30, 2011

Copper, cloudy, and a thin ring of foam. Smells oddly grainy, plus some piney hop notes. Flavor is also oddly grainy and a little bit grassy hops. OK, I suppose, but I would prefer a little more bitterness. italianjohn (3139) - Penndel, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 7, 2011
Clear deep golden pour lots of frothy off white head little too much carbonation ... aroma is of sweet malts and subtle citrusy hops little bready and light floral hops .... taste is over carbonated with some spicy floral hops and a little citrusy hop with sweet and bready malts .... bitter spicy hop in the finish ... not a bad pale ale at all taste was off a little from the carbonation Drake (13738) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 6, 2011
12 ounce bottle from Lowes in Hickory, NC on 4/7/11. Pours a hazy amber color with a medium sized fizzy white head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of bitter floral and citrus hops. this beer is not good. tastes and smells like skunk. don’t know if i just got a fail bottle but it’s in a brown bottle so it shouldn’t have been tainted by the elements. disgusting drfabulous (7945) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - JUL 16, 2011
