Poured from the bottle. Not much to speak of in terms of aroma. Just hints of both malt and hops. Nothing significant. Taste is mostly pale malt with minor op bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium, and drinks pretty smooth. ok for a basic pale ale. jsquire (4489) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - AUG 22, 2013
Yellow gold color with a short lived foamy white head. Nose of wet grains and oranges. Some sugar cookie topped with orange zest flavors. Easy drinking pale ale. Art (3217) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 21, 2013
On tap at Dandelion Market. Pours a clear yellowy orange color. Has about a half inch of white head and leaves continuous lacing down the glass. Aroma is slightly fruity with a mild hop character. Taste is a mild fruity maltiness. BrettTaylor (776) - Radford, Virginia, USA - AUG 16, 2013
Poured as a 4 oz taster in Greensboro - hoppy, refreshing, bitter but balanced with caramel notes at end. foyle (422) - Wyoming, USA - JUL 21, 2013
Appearance: 1” fluffy white head, cloudy golden color with significant carbonation. Large amount of lacing as well.
Aroma: Citrus dominates – tangerine and orange. Some biscuit malt as well and a bit of yeasty bread.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied and somewhat sticky, noticeable carbonation in the swallow with a dry finish.
Flavor: toasted bread, a bit of raisin, tangerine. Flavor is more balanced than the aroma.
Overall: I found this brew enjoyable and drinkable. A nice session ale.

Foamy white head, dark golden pour. Slightly floral but a tad skunky aroma. Flavor is floral sweet. High carbonation. Flavor actually good. aracauna (3606) - Georgia, USA - JUN 27, 2013
The color of sweet tea, appropriate for a Southern beer. Fairly hoppy, but nice malty finish. magsinva (1250) - Virginia, USA - JUN 11, 2013
Tap at Black Mtn Ale House - pours clear orange with a white head. Aroma is very piney. Taste is bitter and finishes dry... Gah I’m bored, almost fell asleep writing the review. DiarmaidBHK (4900) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 11, 2013
Draft at Black Mountain Ale House. Pouts yellow with an inch of white foam. Not much on the nose. Slight floral hop note on the tongue. Finishes clean. A beer called Southern Pale Ale should kick much ass. This does not. Caytinator (1005) - Waco, Texas, USA - MAY 28, 2013
12oz bottle. Pretty good pale - classic blue jean drinking beer. Nothin’ fancy, makes me want to sit on the tailgate of a pickup. Easily the best pale ale I’ve had this week.
