3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. The pour was a slightly hazy golden amber with a large (2-3 finger) white rocky head that had great retention and lasting throughout producing thick sheets of lacing.
The aroma was to say the least nice and hoppy of a pine hop, a grain malt and a soapy yeast with nice strong notes of citrus and caramel.
The taste was bold and bitter with a hint of caramel at first then became extremely hoppy with a real nice dose of citrus at the end. The flavor lasted a really long time allowing for full enjoyment of this beyond hoppy brew.
Mouthfeel was just a bit beyond light in body and dry in texture with a nice prickly carbonation.
Overall this Pale Ale is by far one of the better ones out there. If I did not know any better, I would have taken it for an IPA.
Bottle. This starts well, with a voluminous pour and a nice, airy, piney aroma. But then, although not imperfect, it mostly comes across as an "every day" beer, with little distinctive flavor beyond a very mellow, sip-able brew. Bottle->2/3 English pint glass. Clear gold with huge frothy offwite head. A: spicy pine hops, malt, pepper, soap. Taste is same, with an off flavor and misplaced zestiness. Not great. shrubber85 (11618) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - MAR 4, 2016
Bottle. Grassy, lightly soapy orange malt and orange peel aroma (soapy aroma much more apparent in the head). Golden yellow with giant head. Lightly sweet orange biscuit malt and moderately bitter grapefruit peel flavor. Decent body. hershiser2 (3666) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - FEB 10, 2016

Bottle, Wine Warehouse, CHO.
Pours slightly hazy amber with a small off white head.
Smells of citrus hops and earth.
Taste is an immediate funk of wet Lipton tea bags... some sour notes and bitter peel.
APPEARANCE- dark golden yellow, like straw. perfectly clear. Amazingly tenacious head with luxurious lacing.
NOSE- moderate strength resinous hop. Slightly fruity hop scents color the resin scents nicely.
FLAVOR- good flavors with a little hop bitterness.
NOTES- nice pale ale that’s not overpowering with hop, which is nice for a pale ale.

Ok pale ale. Fresh hop characteristics present though body is pretty unbalanced for just a pale ale. kaser (6382) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 17, 2015
Clear orange pour with white head, 12oz bottle at home. Spicy fruit aroma. Bitter, super juicy, hops and maybe some pepper like. Delicious brew
